Entrance Preview

For getting admission in my college one need to clear the CAT exams. I was also doing CA parallel to my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was really nice learned a lot all the faculties were really nice and experienced. We enjoyed a lot. Almost every student were participating in every curriculum activities. Course was also very tough but with the guidance of the college faculties we could manage it.

Internships Opportunities

Birla sun life company, arvind mills and many other well known companies came for the campus interview. Stipend they offer was ranging between 3000 to 6000 pm.

Placement Experience

At Placement you have a wider exposure. Many MNC come for placement here. Birla sun life company, arvind mills and many other well known companies came for the campus interview. they offered a starting salary of ranging between 20000 to 30000 pm. Out of 530 students 160 were able to get into next round and finally 56 were finalised and 45 get the job.

College Events

We had Inter college comepetition, college fest, Mr and ms college competition. We were host of the inter college fest in the second year. The particition was good. Around 4570 students in ahmedabad had participated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are very feasible looking the kind of facilities. The college is providing for all the three years the fees was total around rs.4000 approx.

For studying you can take a education loan from the many banks like State bank of India axis bank etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are available nearby the college for those who are coming from other cities. In one room you have 3 beds with desperate cubord and a study table.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Now, there is a semester system being implemented but earlier we had three main exams before uni exams.

Faculty

All the faculties were really nice and experienced. For statistics we had three faculties for accounts we had six faculties out of which one was visiting faculty.

I opted for this course just for graduation purpose after that i will be doing LLB , i opted for b.com in this college because the study pressure isn't that much so i can focus on my LLB studies and other activities

Placement Experience:

4/5 semester students become eligible for campus placements. In placement, they get many companies like all the insurance companies. He gets a placement with an insurance company in which they need around 10 students. Out of all the companies, the highest package he was given was 180000 for the whole year. I want to start a business after college.

The placement system for the masters course is good comparatively to other colleges of state.. And the bachelor courses the college are provide the company info.and also provide the campus placement.but it can't provide guarantee for all the students ..but in overall the placement system are good.

Everything about GLS

I have applied for various other colleges like Gujarat college, Xaviers college and many other colleges but the problem was that the time period the duration period of the course is 4 years and I choose this college because I have listened that the faculty is also very good and helpful and they also provide placements and also the time period of course is 3 year The admission process is so simple you just have to fill admission form which will cost you around rs 150.to 200 and then if your percentage is good they will call you for admission and a campus tour...Read More
