KCET exam was conducted for admission to engineering courses through the government. Application forms can also be found on the website of college for those who want to apply through management. The KCET exam is conducted during April month and results are out within 20 days. Students are admitted based on their scores and ranks.

Computer science and information science are the two most emerging courses today to find high-paying jobs. That is the main reason I chose this course. Faculties here are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They help students in all the ways possible. Term exams were conducted every year. There would be internal assessment and practical exams in which students had to pass. The difficulty level was not so much and almost 70-80% of students passed these exams.

Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Mindtree, etc. Students get internships in companies like sparks foundation, let's grow more, etc with a stipend of 15-20 thousand per month. Students are to choose a particular project on which they can work.

From the seventh semester, students become eligible for campus placements. High-salary-paying companies such as Accenture, Harman, IBM, Microsoft, TCS, Amazon come to campus to recruit students based on their scores and performance in tests. The highest package offered was 10LPA and the average was 4LPA. Jobs offered were software developer, web developer, data scientist, etc. 70% of students get placed from campus placement. I got placed in an IBM company offering me the role of a software developer.

The fees structure for different courses is different. Depends on which course you choose. Fees for computer science engineering are 70900 per year now. Every year there might be a slight increase in the fee for all the courses. there might be a 10% hike. Scholarships will be offered to students depending on their scores in exams.

Vismay is the name of the annual fest conducted in April and May. Games are organized and students are to participate in them. Also, dance performances in which cash prizes are given. The College library contains all the books which a student might need during his study period. You can borrow the books and return them within the given time to avoid any penalty. Classrooms are well built and maintained with windows for ventilation and good light. The College campus contains many grounds for various sports activities to play like a cricket field, football field, basketball ground, etc. Extracurricular activities are organized very often to balance the student's life with studies and other activities.
