Remarks

The admission process was quite easy, with nothing much to be worried about, however, I don't know about the KCET exam procedure. The college infrastructure isn't very great, the classrooms are good enough but the labs aren't well maintained. Currently, there is refurbishing going on, looking forward to betterment. The senior lecturers are great but the junior lecturers need time to adjust to the students. The lab attendees are friendly enough to help out. The Dean is really friendly and understands the problems of students and takes quick action towards the problem. The library is filled with enough books and has a good system of issuing books to students, delay in returning the books will attract a fine of INR 1 per day. The college overall is maintained well, clean and good, the benches in the classroom and the classroom overall could have been maintained a bit better. Each classroom has its own TV that helps the teachers run through slides and teach better. The parking is chargeable INR 8 per day.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course to explore more the field of health sciences, I have always been fascinated by human science and development. And B pharmacy seemed like a course to explore this field even more. And the increasingly popular thing of engineering is something I didn't want to take up as my bachelor's. The student ratio is good. People from all around India have joined, and the interaction is quite well. There are no groups or harassment cases based on religion or regional standards. Most of the senior lecturers have completed their Ph.D. program and the junior lecturers have finished their masters in the same program. Only the experienced ones are appointed as senior lecturers. All of them teach and interact in English and a few based on special requests teach in the regional language too. The exams are tough unless there is good preparation. computer-based mode and pen-paper mode which helps in increasing the average of that particular semester. The teachers take special care in case of backlog.

Placement Experience

3

About 90% of students were placed during placements in companies like quintiles, indigene, Novartis, and Novo Nordisk. The top recruiting company would be quintiles and the roles offered in these companies are research writer, clinical trials, and pharmacovigilance. Most of them are placed in quintiles as clinical trial analysts, the top salary would be INR 16 Lacs per annum and the lowest would be INR 3 Lacs per annum. 100% of students got placed in internships at BGS global hospitals.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee policy is quite simple and is about 1,20,000 per year. There is however a fee waiver for the KCET students. There hasn't been a fee hike but were offered a 10% fee waive off during the covid times. There are good scholarships offered per semester, based on the SGPA of that semester, which has to be pre-applied for. The scholarships range from INR 1000 to 25% of fee waive which is based on the SGPA secured. The SGPA per semester is based on the grading system, each subject has S, A, B, C, D, F which is in ascending order respectively. There isn't a job offer with a stipend on campus but we can take up part-time jobs in the evening as there is a strict rule of 85% attendance and no special permissions for such reasons. Even though the fee isn't that high compared to other courses the university feels a bit over the head, instead various PGs are available which offer the same quality or even better quality of accommodation and feel more reasonable than the college hostel is.

Campus Life

3.5

Thanks for giving me this opportunity to remember those wonderful days of my life. It is the best day of my life because it was a turning point in my career where here I experienced success as well as a failure too. I still remember the first day of my college where my mind is full of questions and confusion. which field I have chosen where I have stepped into everyone is strangers how to behave with them but eventually things are in right place. I have to make friend's within 1 week even now they are still my best friends. I work very hard in the first year I expected more marks but I fail to achieve my expectations. I made a challenge to myself that this failure has to become a stepping stone for my success. Yes! this challenge makes me successful. I am at the top of my class every semester. It happened not only about my hard work it also happens about my faculty support and guidance. Even though the other part of my college life is bunking the classes and making fun with my college life.
