Honest review of my college

I had given the Jharkhand diploma entrance exam in the year 2015 in which I got 75 marks and my rank was around 1500. My counselling centre was namkum Ranchi. As the counselling started, I got my call on the very first day of counselling. I was having interested in the electrical branch that's why I opted for this. The students can get admission by taking up the entrance exam which is held every year and the form filling starts from the first month of the year.

From the beginning, I was having interested in electrical equipment and electronic things as my father is also an electrical engineer. So I opted for electrical engineering. Most of the faculty members are BTech as well as Mtech holders and they have 5 to 10 years of teaching experience. Also, they take time to time internal exams from students. The teaching faculty is very good and very helpful by nature.

During my college days, the college didn't use to bring many companies for placement, and also as I was from the core branch hardly 5 to 6 core companies visited in the college. Some of the tech companies which visited the college were Tata, Tech Mahindra, Indian oil, etc. Almost 50 to 60% of the students got placed during my final year. And the students who didn't get placement opted for higher studies some went for b tech and some went in the business line.

My fee is 48600 per year excluding the hostel fee, my hostel fee is 20000 per semester. College also provides various types of scholarships. I always go for excellence scholarship which is provided by the Jharkhand government and I got 20,000 per year as a scholarship from the Jharkhand government. To be honest the college does not bring many companies for placements.

Our college organizes various types of events and competitions inside the campus. It also organized various types of tech-fest and annual functions during my college life. I participated in inter College Kabaddi competition and I got first prize in that and also took part in volleyball competition and in that, I was runner up. Our college also has a huge library which includes 1000 books which are available for students. Overall life inside the campus is good and filled with Positive Vibes.
