Remarks

I had given Jharkhand polytechnic entrance exam in the year 2018 in which I got 50 marks and my rank was 3000. And my counseling was on the second day in namkum Ranchi. I was having interested in the civil branch so I opt civil engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the faculty members are well educated and mostly are BTech holders. The teaching methods of the faculty members are unique they take the student outside the classroom and for a survey which is very helpful in getting our practical knowledge. Faculty members take time to time internal exams also which helps students to enhance their health and promote their studies.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 52800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

SLV polytechnic is a semi Government College which means it has a 65% management quota and 35% government seat I got my seat in the Government quota so my yearly fevers are 2830 rupees. If any one of for management quota history will be 52800 per year. This vi does not include hostel fee, hostel fee is 15000 per year for both the student who gets a seat in management quota for Government quota.

Campus Life

Campus life is well and good it also has a library through which you can get whatever book you want and enhance your knowledge college also organized time to time competitions and techfest. During my 2018 21 batches, I participated in a badminton competition in which I got first prize and that was the most memorable moment for me for my college life.

Placement Experience:

The campus selection is a very tough maximum of 4-5 students get placed from our branch per year you will get minimal chances and 2 or 3 companies will come per year and they select only 2 or 3 students from college it is very tough to get selected

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of my interest in Electrical Field. I love to learn about Electricity and its application in the modern Era. There is Enough faculty to solve any problem related to their academics but they are not interested in your activities outside your classroom. The ratio is 1:40: The faculties are well educated and have M.tech degree holders so they have the idea to explain the topics properly.

Our GP Dhanbad college

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are very good. Every year companies come to our campus and select many students for their company. But if there is no campus selection offered then we can apply for a job in different companies. We got a scholarship from the college. On our college campus, some big companies like BCCL and TATA come over there and offer you a very good job. The highest package company offers you depends on your performance in the interview. At least 75% of marks need for placement.

Government Polytechnic, Dhanbad a good place to kick start your engineering journey

Placement Experience:

The placements here are good. From the 5th semester all the students are eligible for placements. Companies like Infosys, L&T, Jindal steel, TATA steel, and many others come for hiring and give good placement offers to students. The highest package has gone to 5LPA given by L&T and Infosys and the average is 2.5LPA by other companies. Every year a total of 50-70 percent of students get placed by these companies from this institute. After completing this course I have opted for pursuing higher studies which are B.tech by the way and the reason is that I only want to obtain a b.tech degree for a higher pay scale by these companies which are not well in diploma courses as compared to b.tech.

Placement Experience:

In this college, Placement is not good at all because of the location of the college and also due to the new college very less amount of companies comes for placement. In the Batch of 2018-21 from Electrical Engineering, there was 5%to 10% of students were placed. The highest package was 2.5 lakh p.a and the average package was 1.2 LPA. The recruiting companies are Ceat tyre, Hitachi, Mando Automotive. From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting a degree is to prepare for Government jobs like State Je, Railway, SSC etc.

Choice the best college to make your future bright

It is a very good college in Jharkhand. It holds top position diploma college in pp mode. Silli Polytechnic, silli, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The admission process is very easy you can take direct admission or through counselling. The difference in this is the fees for direct-admission fees will be 42400 per year and through counselling 8700 per year. There is a huge choice of courses i.e, civil, computer science, electronic &communication, electrical, mechanical etc. This college is good for Mechanical and Electrical engineering. There is a very huge chance of placement in these two branches. Approximately 70% of students were selected for placement.
