Course Curriculum Overview

I felt B.com course curriculum is very standardized in this college the faculty staffs are extremely good & dedicated towards their work.

Internships Opportunities

Stipend is not offered for internships part time jobs are offered within the college campus. Internship during last semester of the course is possible with or without stipend. It is based upon the company, standard of the project and capabilities of the students.

Placement Experience

They have contact with MNCs like hp, Citibank, RBS bank, Accenture, TCS & many more every year the management offers promising placements.

College Events

Lady Doak college is well known for extra curricular activities & many events. Many intra college & inter college activities are conducted. It provides great opportunity for the students to expose their talents to their outside world. Many workshops and seminars are conducted regularly. Clubs and communities are organized to organize to carry out social events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible and can be paid on instalment basis. It is affordable & as per government norms. It comes upto 25,000 per annum loans may be arranged & scholarship may be arranged for under previlage students.

Campus Life

All the students are accessible to the lab facility with convenience it is a ladies college and only girls are admitted for all the courses. It is Christian minority institution. However there is religious tolerance.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet is well organized periodically to share & recollect the precious moments. It is organized in college or in a reputed college in Chennai. In 2009 August, it was organized in Women Christian college, Chennai. It is free of cost. The management has database of all the students details & corresponds with them.

Exam Structure

Exams system is well organized. It is not very hectic it is dual semester pattern with project in the last semester.

Very dedicated, sincere, no partiality, highly educated & research scholars research guidance are given to students by well experienced guides. Friendly & courteous cool & shady atmosphere, outdoor classes are conducted.

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

From the 5th semester onwards the management made various efforts to conduct oncampus And they made it. Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed.
