Likes

No restrictions for dress,,women empowerment,,,this college is filled with lots of events
Semester examination are not at all stressful even final year project was not that much stressful
College is provided with large library,,also they insisting us to study for competitive examination as well

Dislikes

Canteen with less varieties of food and lunch
More preferences to christian communities
At times you have to stay till evening at college

Course Curriculum Overview

It provides semester examination You can excel in botanical names Field visit are mandatory for all three years They will accompany you to various places to learn about plants and other things related to plant science

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 23000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement are not specific to botany,,but after completing your post graduation you are greatly exposed to lots of job oppin case of teaching and scientific research Also you are applicable to write competitive examination after completing ug in botany

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 23k and the college is literally my second home, apart from learning, we the students of lady doak college gained lots and lots of self confidence, the life in the LDC is the heaven for real, this college has no restrictions for dress! Coming to the department, dept of botany provides you with depth knowledge in plants and all the teachers were extremely kind,, stress-free study environment!

Campus Life

The college conducts inter college events,,also all the department conducts lots of inter department events,,the students of ldc are really empowered ,,they will support women entrepreneurs, dance, music, sports, they will excel you in every field

Admission

Firstly the aided stream has less fee structure comparing to self finance The admission process is very much easy The college locates in heart of the city The timing of the college is made it ease as well

Faculty

Faculties were very kind No stress for assignments, semester examination, final year project,CAs They will provide you with class notes,,that notes itself is enough for examinations They will strengthen you in the field of botany

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very interesting, it has a lot of cool subjects such as developmental psychology which teaches about the stages of life. We have biological psychology and basic psychology. We also have experimental psychology in which we have practicals. There are many more subjects.

College Admission

Admission:

21 years is the The upper age limit for admission to UG courses as on 1st July in the respective year. However, the differently abled are permitted a relaxation of 5 years . The Selection Committee consists of the Principal, and two senior most Assistant Professors/Associate Professors of the College. The Principal, on the basis of the selection made by the selection committee admits students.. The selection committee is responsible for the entire admission The admission procedure is simply based on merit with 31 % quota for Open Competition (OC).The backward classes get a quota of 26.5%, 3.5% for Backward class Muslims, 15% for Scheduled castes and 1% for Scheduled tribes. Total number of seats in each course for women candidates is not to exceed 30% of the total course strength.

Money minded college and worst infrastructure they would allow you to whright the first sem exam after you pay the full fee of the year. If not you wouldn't be allowed to right the exam and the exam you paid will also be not refunded

Remarks:

Only most number of students studying in the college in villupuram city.so special college in the city. The good teaching and learning the student are in the Siga college. The faculty are higher in the college.
