Remarks
The admission to GIM happens in two phases. One is where candidates are shortlisted and called for WAT/PI-based on their profiles. Once they fulfill all said parameters and have relevant work ex with a minimum CAT Percentile of 85%, they are extended admission. In the other phase, candidates are first shortlisted based on their CAT percentile, then the WAT/PI happens, and based on how many students are left after giving admission to profile-based shortlisted students, these candidates are further extended the admission. GIM also considers XAT scores for the purpose of providing admission to its students.

Interview Experience
The admission process at GIM is very simple. It shortlists the students in the 1st phase of admission based on their profile. i.e. the years of work ex, significant PORs, contribution to co-curricular activities overall, etc. After shortlisting the profiles, they call in their students for a WAT/PI process. This entire procedure happens around December before the results of CAT are announced. After taking a cumulative score of this, they consider the CAT/XAT percentile which is given a smaller weightage in this case. And the give-out calls for admission. Their phase 2 is similar to the process followed by any bschool. CAT Exam-CAT % tile-based shortlist-WAT/PI-Call for applications based on the number of seats left.
