Remarks

From the website of the college, you will get all information about application form dates, fees, and details about the college. I am an OBC category student so if you are eligible for a government scholarship then fees are very low like rupees 1600 per year. The admission process is too lengthy and time-consuming. Office staff will not cooperative some time.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I want to do CA so I choose B.Com. for graduation. The faculty-student ratio is 3:100 so they manage well. Staff is too good and well qualified but if you are not a regular student then they will intentionally target you for assignments and orals. Term exams are easy and they are taken timely.

Internships Opportunities

3

I don't have any idea about companies and roles offered by them under internship with stipend. Internships are related to marketing, capital markets are provided by various companies. And there is a competitive exam center where they guide students about exams and internships.

Placement Experience

3

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. I don't have any idea about all companies but many reputed companies offering jobs every year. The average package is 3 lakh which is maximum upto 10 lakh. 40 to 60% students are getting placements. My plan after getting degree is to pursue CA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess are very less in comparison to other colleges they are 50% less than all other colleges . Scholarships are available for reserve category students and girl students. I got MAHADBT scholarship for tuition fees of OBC students.

Campus Life

3

Many annual fests are conducted properly. They are conducted in month of December or January. Library is too good very students have access to all types of books. In classroom there is no such amenities for students other than benches and blackboards. For sports this college is best. College have proper selection process for college level competitions.

Other Applied Colleges

Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce | B.Com.

Because of compulsory attendance i didn't choose BMCC. As I want to attend CA coaching classes

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
