Remarks

Overall it was good. Just the faculty was not that supportive. Administrative faculty was good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Basically I was doing CA course. So I chose B com. But if u do just B com then there are not very good options or job opportunities. Also b com of Pune university is not so practical. It is just for the sake of degree. U have to do post graduation else it is very difficult to get a decent job.

Placement Experience

2.5

Personally I did not avail any internship as a I was also doing chartered accountancy course along with my BCom. but there were few banks and few companies who came to college for placement and their selected some of the students but I did not have much Idea regarding the package or the kind of the work that provided. Sorry.

College Events

3

Ganpati festival, sports week were some which were celebrated but as I said earlier, there was not so much participation taken by students who were doing other professional courses simultaneously. Though there were many students who used to celebrate festivals in the college itself with a crowd of some 500-700 people.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of our college is really very feasible. As I come from a average background it was very much affordable for me to study there. Also there are scholarships available as well for the students. Average per year fee for b com was 9000 INR

Fees and Financial Aid

I got scholarship after 12th standard as I got 81 percent and I was 6th in college at that time. So they only informed me about scholarship. Also other students from OBC or other class were given scholarship and the list was displayed in notice board. Average fees of b com was 9000 annually but it was 3000 approximately for students getting scholarships.

Campus Life

2

Gender ratio was almost equal. There was a decent climate in college for girls. No ragging was done in college. There were students from across the country including states like Gujrat, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu etc. Also there were students from Africa. Politics to some extent is there everywhere. It was in our college as well. But no racism.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

No but there was a hostel in the college campus having capacity of around 100-120 students with fees of 60000 annually including food. But the reviews of the hostel were not good as there was not so cleanliness. Also the food provided was of below average quality.

Alumni/Alumna

I never faced any ragging by seniors. Instead, they were helpful regarding assignment completion and other stuff. Also for festival celebration they used to help us.

Admission

I did my 10th from Gujarat board. After that I filled the form choosing commerce stream. There is a common form which is required to be filled in Pune university where you have to choose 30 colleges as per your wish and the admission is centralised. Cut out list is announced where you can check as to which college u can receive the admission in. Cut out is as per your 10th standard marks.

Faculty

1.5

The faculty was average. There where some professors which was really good well somewhere not that good. Also there was very low attendance and there was no personal attention that they paid to each and every student. it was just another job and that it was just like that. They did not bother about anything else. Also most of the students did not attend the college at all. They just attended the college at the end of the year when the practicals were required to be submitted. Rest of the time there were busy roaming here and there it was fault of both faculties as well as students.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements typically begin in the 5th or 6th semester, depending on the college's policy, with eligibility requirements like a minimum GPA. Companies like motilal , toothsii, and various startups often visit for recruitment. The number of offers made varies by college and course, with 30-40 companies visiting for a batch of 100 students.

The students are eligible for placements after the fifth semester of their graduation and the companies visiting the college include the big 4 of the industry like delliote, KPMG, ey and PWC. The average salary per year ranges from 6-7LPA and the highest package is around 13LPA a year. 70 percent of the students get placed through the college every year . I personally plan to pursue MBA as my post graduation thats why i will not be opting for college placements

This course can be taken by students who want to give professional exams like CA, CS, CMA as the syllabus of B.Com is similar to these professional courses. So you don't have to study extra for B.Com exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

You get direct in-house admission for Bcom if you're a junior college student at dahanukar. The curriculum is enough to prepare us for the exam however outdated it is. The syllabus needs to change the teachers need to be changed and also the management should be updated. The college requires a dynamic approach rather than a slow and less productive one. The exams are conducted semi annually and their difficulty is quiet manageable.

Although the faculty here are experts but they still lag with some professional options but to overcome this we are Collaborated with professional to provide the best. Our exams are at a moderate level which a student can clear if he is really engaged in studies. Academics are great and timings of exam depend on the type of exam

About 80 to 90 % of the student got placed in the course. Most of the big companies give internships from top companies. The highest package offered was around 7.2 LPA. The average salary package is around 3.5 LPA. The top companies which offered placement are HDFC bank, Accenture, TCS, and Infosys. You get the placement if you got more than 80 % in any course or category. I have planned to do a CA course after completing my degree course.
