Remarks

I would always suggest this college to any person who wish to peruse B.COM Course as the fees are cheap and teaching faculty is really good. One can have really good exposure to extracurricular activities and the students can have really good college/social life here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is little out of date. There are some topics which are out of date but some are still good. We have annual pattern not like other colleges who have semester pattern. In annual pattern we are supposed to score total 40 marks out of 100. That is 8/20 in internals and 32/80 in final exam(university exam).

Placement Experience

2.5

The college doesn’t provide good job placements. To be frank I have not gone through the college placements as I had a reference outside hence I got an internship through my personal sources. I really don’t know exactly how internships are offered from college but I don’t think top firms come for hiring students and maybe the stipend will not be too much it will be just enough to cover your nominal expenses.

College Events

5

Consumers day - Here the students set up their stalls of food and games and enjoy. It is one of my favourite events. It is encouragement to students for working hard to earn money. To learn how to make business. Other events like Teachers Day, Guru pournima, Annual Function, etc. are also conducted where competitions like chart making competition, debate competition, singing, dancing etc are there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are two types of fees structure: 1) Grant fees structure 2) Non - Grant fees structure If you score above 60% that is in First Class then you come under grant structure where the prices are very low like 3000-4000rs. If you score below that then you come under non grant structure where the fees are high compared to grant like 8000-9000rs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had not availed any scolarship facility in the college as I am financially well settled. But there are scholarships offered to students who are deprived of financial problems. Students with specific caste also get financial assistance. These scholarships/financial assistance is not given from college but they are provided from Government.

Campus Life

3

The college offers a lot of time to students for extracurricular activities. This college has always been in top 3-4 in Purshottum Karandak and other acting competitions. College have also set up an MMCC Art Circle where students going for extra curricular activities register themselves. Faculty also allows discount in attendance if you are in art circle. I have not heard much about sports in our college as we did not have good ground facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Some of the seniors were really very good with us. We used to meet outside even when they had passed out. The alumni network is not very strong. But only interested students come for the meets and events. Annual day function is open to all current students and ex students.

Admission

I got admission through in-house quota of this college as I was in the same college for junior college. For other students the process will be online through the website of Pune university unipune.nic.in

Faculty

4.5

The teaching faculty is really good of MMCC. The teachers are regular also gives personal attention sometimes if needed. I was so friendly with one of my teacher that I feel like she’s a counsellor to me. But the non teaching faculty is not efficient. They work really very slow. The office staff has a lot of attitude but the principal is really very good.

Placement Experience:

After the 4th-semester students are eligible for campus placement. I have visited SBI Bank and I got only a 1-time offer from them. The highest package from them was 75000 and the average package was 35000. Above 85% of students are getting placement. After getting the degree I will do a 2-year bank course and then I will do the job in a bank or somewhere else where I can work.

Remarks:

College is really good and strict about attendance and discipline. Unfair means are not at all tolerated. It is fair in treating every student equally. The faculty and infrastructure are good. The placements are not so great but college is trying its best to get more firms. The college conducts various personality development programs like K-school to help the students with interviews.

The management of the college is pretty helpful. They would respond quickly and wouldn't keep us waiting for long. They would always listen to the students point of view, even if they wouldn't use it. The Dean is very approachable and students can meet her at any point.

College Management is is okay, okay, well they manage everything on time but their lunch time clashes with student's lunch time or the time which can bunk for paying our fees, exam forms etc. But somehow it can be managed by submitting fees and all before college time starts. Except this this my college's management faculty manages everything on time, there is good communication between management and students and faculties, transparency is there.
