The admission is through josaa portal on the basis of JEE MAINS score. Applications dates and fees can be obtained from josaa website itself. And eligibility for the course is that you need to clear cut off of the course whichever you are interested in. All the cutoffs of the courses can be found on josaa website itself.

I did choose the course i.e. chemical engineering as there are many future research opportunities in this branch and I wanted to contribute to the field of research. And there are opportunities for internships in foreign universities too. The faculties here are great and they are all PhD scholars. They teach on MS teams if the classes are online. Where teachers prepare very informative slides and explain them in the easiest possible way. There are 3 assessment tests and one end semester exam in a semester. But it also depends on faculty how must assessment must be taken or assignments. But end semester exams are common. If you concentrate in the class itself u can easily pass the semester.

Fees structure is pretty standard what all top Institutes follow as top IITs and NITs do. Their is a fee waiver in tution fee if your family income is below 5 lakhs. If your family income is below 1 lakh then all tution fee is forgiven and if between 1-5 lakh you get 2/3 fee waiver. If you are not able to pay fees you can also opt for student loan provided by SBI bank in the college itself.

The annual fest held in Nit Trichy is Festember which is held in the month of September. And Pragyan is the technical fest. The time for Pragyan keeps changing. There is another fest called AAVEG which is an inter hostel competition event held every year. There is every sport available on the campus with 2 gyms on the campus. Classrooms are top class with projectors, AC, proper ventilation facilities with good furniture for seating purposes. You can also enrol yourself into NSS which is a welfare club that works for society. Samee ways NSOis for sports activity and NCC is also available. Of which one is compulsory to take in the first year which does have credits also. There are in total 31 clubs in Nit Trichy of which 14 are technical clubs, 10 cultural clubs, 7 social clubs.
