Remarks

Our college is mainly famous for its Engineering courses but when I was searching for affordable MBA institutes, I decided to do it here. The institute is affiliated with Anna University and has been given 'A+' Grade by NAAC. The college has bagged 89th rank in recent overall rankings of NIRF. Admission to the MBA program is based on the entrance score and PI/GD rounds at SSNCE.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have been working in administrative roles on a lower level but I wanted to grow more and that's why I opted for the MBA program at SSNCE. The course structure in the college was really good as It really helped me to go through all curriculum points in the most productive ways. The 2 year course is semester based and the exam difficulty is not that high but you still have to prepare well

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Yes the college had a good record of internships round which is why I participated in the round. But I must say that the round was a great opportunity to interact with highly skilled people and if a student gets an high stipend offer that's even better.

Placement Experience

4.5

IT was the domain during 2020 placements of our college while Engineering was the most popular field for recruitments. A whopping number of firms came to the college for the Placements and around 90% of students got recruited. Wipro, Intel, ITC, Tata consultancy etc are some famous recruiters of SSNCE. The average package for the batch was 6.15 LPA & the top offer was INR 64 LPA which was bagged by an Engineering student.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee at SSNCE college for the MBA programme is very very affordable and this is why it's MBA is quite popular. Students of MBA have to pay INR 17,500 per semester and the total fee for the 2-year programme is INR 70,000 at SSNCE, Chennai. Scholarships of Fee waiver, Merit based & Sports were available at SSNCE.

Campus Life

4.5

Our campus life is dominated towards technical education and that's why most of the events at SSNCE resemble that. The events kuje Instincts, Sports fest and Invente are the most famous one's in our college. We had a large auditorium for the arrangement of such events. Various academic competitions are also there. The library at SSNCE is filled with a vast amount of content from all different fields and students can get medical assistance (if needed) from the Medical center in the campus. The whole campus has good WiFi connectivity.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, our college has availability of Hostel facilities for students who are from other cities or States. Students who want to reside in the hostel will have to follow the instructions of the Administration. The infrastructure is quite good and students get to have good mess facilities also. The quality of all available facilities at SSNCE is admirable and I was really happy with the experience I got there.

Admission

Admission to the college for MBA requires a valid score in Management exams such as CAT, XMAT or GMAT. Students get shortlisted as per these scores and then only students get to appear in the rounds of Group discussion and the Personal Interaction. Students must have done their graduation with at least 50% aggregate marks to become eligible for admission.
