Remarks
The NMAT, for which I received a score of 210 out of 360, is the college's own entrance exam. It takes place from October through January, and information about it can be found on the college's website. This year's cutoff was 180 out of 360. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, biotechnology, life sciences, nutrition, or dentistry. Candidates who have been shortlisted for the NMAT must then go through a WAT and a PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this degree to get a head start in my profession, and NMIMS in particular since it is one of the major universities that offers it, and the LTC course is NMIMS' flagship course, which aids in total learning during the course, from academics to on-the-job knowledge. The professor-to-student ratio is good, with a class size of no more than 50 students, allowing the faculty to focus more effectively.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course is expensive with a fee of 6.5L per year so a total of 13L but it has a good return on investment. The fee is actually carefully structured and aligned with the institute's materials. I have not applied for financial assistance but banks easily provide loans for such courses
Campus Life
There are a number of clubs and committees on campus examples include a music club, photography club, fashion club, economics cell, advertising cell, alumni club, cultural cell, and sports club. Throughout the year, there are fun events and festivals.
Interview Experience
Yes, once the shortlist came in based on the NMAT scores, the next round of PI. There were two panellists for the interview and each asked around 3-4 questions. GD was cancelled due to an online setting and a WAT was taken instead.
