My college journey

Banasthali University is the second largest women residential University in the world. it was accredited by NAAC A++ grade in 2020. and the most important reason for taking admission in this university was that i got 100% scholarship from Dalmia group for my graduation.

Banasthali University provides all the UG, PG and Phd courses. it has amazing faculty. all the faculty members having higher degrees (doctorate, post doctorate ). most of them are IITians. Our faculty provide deep knowledge of the subject. they not only focus on the theoretical part but also give practical knowledge to the students. there are several laboratories related to the particular course. Approx 19000 students are studying in banasthali University in 2021. three years courses divided into 6 semesters and 4year courses are divided into 8 semesters. in each semester 2 internal exams are taken and 1 semester exam. difficulty level of the exams are moderate. sometimes some exams are set at difficult level but if students study properly, they can have good marks in exam.

yes, currently i am doing internship in CSIR -IIP and my project is Rheological Investigation of additive doped indian crude oil. our chemical department has selected students on the basis of their aggregate marks and send us to iip dehradun. there are different companies that visit in our college to select students for 6 month internship.

placements are good. from last year of their course students are eligible for campus placement. TCS, Accenture , Wipro, Bank of America, Myntra , Infosys , American express , goldman sac etc these companies visit in our university for recruiting students. average package in our university is 3.5-4 lakh. highest package offer to the students of our university is 23 lakhs. approx 80% students get placed every year except chemical engineering branch students. in chemical engineering only 10-20 % students get placed every year and rest of them find off campus placement or opt for higher studies.

for B.tech, tuition fees is 4.36 lakh and hostel charge is 50000 per year. our university provides scholarship also. students who actually need scholarship will go through the scholarship process. anyone can fill scholarship form. our university provides 10 to 50k scholarship to the students. campus placement is also good. in B.tech, CS and IT, EE and EC students almost get placement. but campus placement for chemical engineering students is not soo good.

Banasthali life is itself a different experience. which you never get it from anywhere. there are many canteens from from where you can have your favourite food. there are also market in the campus from where you can buy your necessary things. many fests ate conducted in our university. Mayuk is national level fest which is conducted annually in our university. different fest for different courses are also conducted in our university like janus fest for biotech department etc. Banasthali University library procured 450000 records including books, bound journals, reports, thesis and dissertations, manuscripts, albums, maps, charts , audio/ video cassettes, atlas, slides and many more. ok extra curricular activities are good in banasthali University. if someone is interested in sports there are many options like football, basketball, lawn tennis , judo , karate, hockey and many more. you will find a sort of activities like swimming, dancing , playing an instrument , shooting, horse riding and aviation.

yes, i gave the entrance test for taking admission in B.tech. In B.tech entrance test physics , chemistry and mathematics are asked. there are total 90 questions in the test. 30 from physics , 30 from chemistry and 30 from mathematics. we have studied these subjects in 11th and 12th. all the science students prepare these subjects since 12th class because they have to give many entrance exams just to get a good college. that's how i prepared these subjects for the entrance. when i got selected in the entrance. i got a mail for the councelling. and yes i choose B.tech chemical engineering. in the interview, they asked my introduction, why do i wanna choose chemical engineering, something about chemical engineering and that's all.
