Remarks

Yeah my suggestion is that the college should first get a good Wifi access to students and should stop all the unnecessary rules at the college gate and should maintain a good faculty with good stuff and expressive ones.

Entrance Preview

The college doesn't require a big exam like IIT JEE or AIEEE, this college just requires an EAMCET qualification conducted by AP Board. I got around 20k rank in EAMCET 2013 and I chosed Mechanical Engineering. Frankly speaking this college is one of my option in Counselling but I never thought I would get this college. My review is mainly MECHANICAL ENGINEERING perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is not up to the mark in the view of research but it mainly focuses the theoretical knowledge than the practical knowledge. It would be better if all the labs are in working condition (specifically for ME). The labs are good but all equipment are not at working condition.

Internships Opportunities

No college will not provide any internship specifically but it is upto the student interest. The college is located near to steel plant of vizag where our students can get internship with a good knowledge.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are good enough to in our college particularly for the pass outs of 2017 I.e our batch. Many big companies such as MICROSOFT, INFOYSYS, TECHMAHINRA,HCL visited our campus and recruited many students. Most of the placements are software companies, which are not satisfying a ME, EEE,CIVIL student. One or two core companies are visiting for remaining( other than CSE AND IT)branches which are not satisfactory.

College Events

5

Every year our college conducts a FEST (festival). The fest is generally conducted on first or second week of January. Many events and games conducted for male and female too. There is a healthy competetion between each and every branch in games and sports conducted for fest. There is chance to participate for each and every individual in any events. The fest is generally two days where a number of stalls are present. The first day is bit boring with speeches and facilitations. The second day is good for enjoying with friends. 'Song Dedication ' stall is special attraction of the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure has a drastical change with the span of four years I.e when I got joined and the present fee. When I joined it was 56k in which government provides 35k as fee reimbursement for students who are eligible for government Norms, but now the fee is approximately 1Lakh with same reimbursement. It is very expensive fee for the present batch who are joined in first year. It is not a feasible fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah the college will give scholarship to the academic toppers in each and every branch with a waiver varying 25-100 percentage according to their performance.

Campus Life

3

A good campus life with good facilities of canteen, library, grounds etc. The gender ratio is good in all the branches except mechanical. Workshops are conducted regularly and student activity centre(SAC) is runned by the students which consists all cultural and technical events. The college is not in a position to give WIFI facilities to the students, that is worst complaint in our college. There are no political bias in the college. The journals in the library are very old ones and limited stock which not meeting every student. The college timings are very worst, starting at 8AM sharp and ending with 3PM and bloody rules at the college gate which are in necessary.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel facilities are average I.e neither too good nor bad. The bed and bathroom facilities are good but the food is not upto the mark with a boring menu. The hostel fee is upto 60k which is worthless. I would suggest a good room near by college or private hostel than the college hostel. The hostel is full of restrictions and unwanted rules.

Alumni/Alumna

The experience with senior studens was started by ragging(just small SD questions) in the hostel. It was good to know every aspect from them about academics and enjoyment. We had a good time in our hostel with seniors guiding ous about how to tackle the situation academically such as exams, labs, how to behave with faculty etc. It was an amazing experience with our seniors.

Exam Structure

The exam pattern is based on JNTU KAKINADA norms. Jntuk conducts two mid term exams and a final exam. The best of two mid exams is taken into consideration. Recently JNTU is conducting the final exams at a new center I.e not at our campus. The center for exam is around 15-20 km from our college.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty are the back bone of any college, In our college, most of the faculty are well qualified in IIT'S and NIT'S. They are good qualified but most of them are unable to grab the attention towards them and unable to express their technical skills. On an average in one semester our students get 2-3 good faculty out of 6 subjects

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
