Remarks

One of the best engineering college in haryana. At that time I was very much interested in automobile/mechanics so I choosed mechanical engineering. Infrastructure was well maintained although being an old college. There Library was super excellent which provides you with vast options for reading. Yes, it's true that I faced a lot of issues in travelling as it took me around 110km daily drive, but it was manageable at the end. Leaving the shine apart we get to know the real things only when we face them. So after getting admission I realised the fact that faculty here was also good. Perhaps, there was a time when there were many issues but ups and downs are a part of life. My College experience was great at the end and also I would like to add the fact that DCE, Gurgaon has given me the opportunity to meet and face the new challenges in life in the field of engineering. Overall education there was good. Also, mechanical engineering is not an easy going thing, so yes teachers were very helpful and we're always guiding for the right.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty was excellent, always helpful and kind. They provided a very well planned curriculum which in my openion surely helped students. Me as well as most of my mates were attending webinars/seminars organised by the college. Though there wasn't any compulsion yet everyone was attending workshops like robotics, automobile related things and all. Many workshops by MNC's like Infosys, Dell etc, were conducted on regular basis. Overall it was a nice experience.

Placement Experience

3.5

Companies like IBM, Dell, Infosys, came for conduction of merit based exam and after shortlisting students they call them for a short interview. Many people got job from the campus itself. National institutes like INA also recruited engineers for technical jobs. Although it was always the talk of the mouth that good companies and not coming and if they ever came they hardly took anyone. Well, it depends on many factors. We should not judge them. A few of my batch mate also got selected for good companies like HP, IBM, etc. Overall placement opportunities are good but not that good as well. College campus specially the Registrar could have done way better in this aspect.

College Events

3.5

Technical and cultural events were conducted on regular basis. Though there wasn't any questions about your talent, LoL. Every other person could take part in ( cultural events ). There were special events on days like Independence Day / Diwali / Holi, etc. Every other person enjoyed them a lot. All the events were conducted and managed by college students provided they take money before from every student. Outsiders were also allowed on occasions like Christmas and all.

Campus Life

Library was super excellent, provided with free Wi-Fi all over the corners of the campus. Lab equipments and machines were up to the mark. Sports facilities who wished to take were nice. Almost all type of sports activities were included in the campus itself, for example- Football / Basketball / Marathon / Swimming / Cricket, etc. Taking about the labs particularly, I faced some issues but they aren't going to affect anything. Almost every other chemical / machine / equipments was new or well maintained. Wifi network was not that strong and it allow students only for surfing however downloading any content was not possible within the campus. Library provided very good books from almost every renowned author in every field of work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum about 4 on 5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness . The curriculum covers important subject such as program languages , database management system , DSA and many more . It provides good foundation for higher studies like mca but more advanced industry level tools , internships and live projects could further improve practical exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BBA CAM curriculum is quite good overall and that is one of the main reasons I chose this course. It includes both management subjects and computer related topics which gives a mix of business and technical knowledge. We study subjects like marketing finance programming and business communication which are helpful for basic understanding. The syllabus is properly divided semester wise so it is not too hectic. However some subjects are more theory based and I feel there should be more practical work and real life projects. Adding more internships and industry exposure would make it better. Exams are held every semester with internal assessments and the difficulty level is average if you study regularly and it opens ways for both MCA and MBA you can get into any of the fields in future.
