Remarks
Because a few students reviewed about this college and most of the reviews were positive. Also, I checked it's reviews online where it's rated as the best private college of jamshedpur. So, the choice was obvious. I opted for electronics engineering because I had always been amazed and intrigued by the wonders of various electronics gadgets around me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure needs a little update,in my opinion,because subjects are not arranged appropriately in which a student is suppose to follow. We were once taken to an industrial visit of bsnl and it was quite an enthralling experience.All the revered faculties members are extremely supportive and caring.
Placement Experience
There are a range of companies that visit our college. Nathcorp,digiexcellence,genpact,tata motors etc are few of them. They are basically IT based companies.Around 95% companies that visit our college are IT based. They organise several rounds for their selection process which includes, written exam, coding round and hr interview. Some of the companies hold more rounds according to their status and requirements. Our T&P department is quite active in this domain. But there's as such self start up or entrepreneur cell in our college.Although, if any student come up with any idea that's worthy for the foundation of start up, it would be entertained by the college.
College Events
Our college is quite ahead in organising various events like freshers, frolic, provenance etc. These fests are organized in a pretty big scale as celebrities like ash king are invited in events like provenance.
Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is quite well-furnished.There is a huge library. The ground is pretty big. I have not availed any wifi service, so, I can't comment on that. The labs are also well-equipped with all the required things.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I am staying in hostel.They are both pros and cons of girls hostels.The rooms are pretty congested for 3 people to stay in it. Also, if there are 3 people staying in a room, then the switch boards and fans must also be 3 in number but that's not the case. There are only 2 of them which makes it quite difficult for 3 girls to organise their share of space appropriately. Moreover, washrooms are not cleaned regularly. Generally, we are told that it would be cleaned every 2 weeks but mostly, the actual time exceeds that range.Also,cupboards don't have any doors or locks.So it's pretty much our responsibility to take care of our own stuffs.
