Remarks

One of the best in Jharkhand, close to my hometown, affordable fees, good rating given by mosst of the students. Got the course I wanted and entrance exam was good. Reputed college in the city. Big campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was good. Got learn a lot. Detailed and vast syllabus. Dhiraj Mani Pathak is an excellent teacher. We really enjoyed his class. He taught every topic in an interesting way with many day to day examples. Shweta mam was also good. Marcus Barla is a very dedicated and hardworking.

College Events

Cultural life was awesome. We had Xavier utsav every year other than that farewells and welcomes were celebrated in a huge way. We also had Econokriti, which a special fest for the economics department. Students participated in huge numbers and showcased their talent of dancing, singing, public speaking, ect. Debates, nukkad natak and free speech were really enjoyed and appreciated. Cricket and football matches were conducted quaterly.

Campus Life

Campus is quite big with a huge football, cricket and basketball courts. There are 3-4 canteens with different varieties of foods. Free wifi is available in the cafeteria band break area. Library is huge with books on diverse topics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a teacher so I chose this course . I will get graduated as well as get teacher training simultaneously. I will save 1 year in this integrated course. The curriculum is well prepared and gives us all the skills and knowledge required to become a good teacher. Exam happens every 6 months and difficulty is not too high . We can easily score good marks if we give 1-2 hours daily .

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high. Admission process involves both online mad offline process and sometimes takes couple of days. It should be resolved and made easy as students come from far places....Read More
