Remarks

Pure corporate exposure and all round knowledge. This college give extreme importance to student's academical learning. Apart from everyone has an assigned mentor which not only guides for better placement but a better future as well. It gives importance to aptitude and interpersonal skills on regular basis and gives us a taste of corporate world.

Course Curriculum Overview

Every week we had corporate sessions who came and gave us insights about the actual market. Taught us about the trends and challenges. So we were pretty updated. We also had sessions like Economic Times session. Where we discussed with our faculties about the daily news printed in Economic Times.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 7 per year

Internships Opportunities

Usually there's two internship. But I had three. One is Winter Internship in IDBI federal life insurance, 2nd was in Edelweiss and the third one was summer internship in AMUL

Placement Experience

Students has the liberty to decide in which company or sector they wants to go in. Based on that College also co-operated with us and gave us plenty of options in that particular sector. Each student had a chance to sit in more than 15 companies that also with a package of more than 4 lacs.

College Events

Campus life was full of fun and activities. There were activities related to both academics and outside academics as well. Like Ad creating. Debate, Sports all kinds of and many more. The main thing was you were always engaged with something atleast

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is not what I was looking for honestly. But the atmosphere of the outside of the college was astonishing. Although we had gym, canteen playground music room library and many more stuff.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, only the first 2 semester I was there. After that we took flat on rent. Hostel was fun and the facilities were also good. Food was medicore but it was okay for vegetarians. We had pick up and drop facilities. Hot water and maid were also there.

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

My college is well known for its co-curriculum. It conducts different different competitions for students for example:- 1) Debate competition 2) Postermaking competition 3) Slogan making competition 4) Paper presentation competition 5) Research based activity And many more Our college also conduct Ganesh festival And celebrate the festival. The whole 10 days one day we have Garba other day we have dandiya we have singing competition, dancing competitions. We have a DJ night we have sports conducted on Ganesh festival. PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.

Awesome Internship Experience

This college has extra communication and aptitude department who trained us everyday.It has a strict procedure as its schedule is from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm. Admission process is through Entrance Examination and Personal Face to Face Interview. I have chosen this college because of its best academic report compared to other colleges. Many events are organised here apart from academics. First of all BOP(Business Orientation Program) has been conducted to give us refreshment for 2 months. Then from August our academic session begins. Corporate Sessions and Events are arranged and organized on every Saturday from BOP only. Hostel accommodation is also well provided by college in Navayangan Society.Faculties are so helpful, if you are facing any problem reach them. They will solve your queries with ease.
