Remarks

Sinhgad institution is well recognised group in pune and also campus is situated in lonavala hence blessed with beautiful environment. Also teaching staff is very supportive there and the placement here are central placements hence lot of students get placed

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus was up to date and enough industrial exposure is provided. Facilities are good here personally khandekar sir in First Year department was excellent. There are other facilities who have completed their phD some have done it from abroad universities hence they are quite good.

Various mass recruiting companies visiting campus every year some students get higher packages by opting off campus placement drives. For placements there is central placement cell which take care of placement of all the campuses in main vadgaon campus.

College Events

Campus life is great here there are various technical, cultural, management fests. Some of them are organised by college and some are organised by students. Fests like surbhi and spandan are big are lot of students participate in them.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to avail state government scholarship. College doesn't provide any scholarship on its own.As i don't availed any kind of loan i don't know if college provides any. But some of my friends have so you can get loan.

Campus Life

Campus is pretty huge talking of infrastructure it is not upto the mark due to environmental conditions. Sports facilities are provided for nearly all types of sports. Whole campus is covered by wifi network. Library is quite small but one big library is under construction.

Hostel Facilities

There are 10-20 hostels in the campus but all of them are not similar cause some of them are old buildings. Shared hostels are available also one can option for individual room. And anyone who want to opt for hostel can take it.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

SKN Sits Lonavala College Review For Engineering Aspirants
