Remarks
Eligibility is an Intermediate pass with English. candidate must obtain 50% of marks in 12th. You can find the application form on shibli official website, charge in 400 rupee, and it comes in the month of March and April. There is OBC/Muslim, SC/ST reservation. A very large no. of seats are reserved. Admission process is very good and fast just some unfair admission is not good for other students.
Course Curriculum Overview
English is a language in with you can communicate with the world and there are large opportunities for English students. English Faculty has 11 teachers and all are Ph.D. holders, the student-teacher ratio is 15:1. The teaching method is average but better than other Colleges in Purwanchal. At the end of 1 academic year the Jaunpur University Conduct Exams. You can easily pass exams by self-studies and course books.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not at all. there is no policy for fee hike. Total fees for 1 year is 4000rs which is very less and cost of study like renting room and Tiffins are not very costly. Scholarship given by Uttar Pradesh Sarkar and Central government scholarship available. You can get your fees back by applying for a scholarship. I get 5000rs last in UP scholarship.
Campus Life
Shibli college has a big campus, there is Independence day and National festival celebrated. Books and journals are available here in college Library. Library gives books on rent. The classrooms are very clean and maintained. no AC installed in rooms but all other things are well managed. Sports competitions are Conducted in-ground and not so much activity. Group is mainly political as there is a college election held. SHIBLIAN is a very famous group.
