Graduate of Any stream. Application form available on praxis website. Admission fees in INR 51K. Admission process: Passage writing, Personal Interview, Prior to that, one has to clear MAT/CAT/CMAT. The onboarding process is smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
PGDM is more of an application based approach when compared to MBA. The faculties are highly qualified and are available anytime to help the students. PGDM is of six trimesters. For each trimester we have one Midterm and one end term within a three month period. Questions are based on applications from the lectures.
Internships Opportunities
Association with a reputed brand is always desired when the internship program begins. Dabur, Kantar, Reliance Nippon, Growth Studioz are some of the companies which took interns from our batch. The maximum stipend achievable by our batch was INR 20K.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for Internships after the end of the first trimester. Final placements begin when one is about to complete their fourth trimester. ICICI is by far the mass recruiter for PGDM. Organizations such as Poonawala Fincorp, L&T-Financial Services, HSBC, WNS, EY-India, EY-GDS, MRF, HDFC, PWC are some of the organizations recruiting from praxis.
Fees and Financial Aid
The ROI is absolutely phenomenal. It's the best in Kolkata without a doubt. There are four instalments that one has to pay, and the financial department provides opportunities in terms of acquiring a loan.
Campus Life
There are three fests that occur. Spardha is the biggest event by far. As we are still following a Hybrid model, the college gave us access to one of the most prestigious E-library, and the other materials provided by the faculty. Several clubs exist. We have digitalics, e-cell, Ambit, beehive to name a few. Due to the pandemic, sports events are not taking place at this point in time.
Interview Experience
There was a passage writing for which the topic was abstract. Mostly it is related to current affairs or events that are not too old. One has to clear a competitve entrance exam like MAT/CAT/CMAT and them apply further. The PI depends on what we have studied earlier, and critical thinking is tested.
