APSDC- Review

So we need to write an SRM exam and based on ranks we can choose the college I got 6000 ranks so I got a chance to select any of the SRM campuses and the counseling was done at your nearest SRM campuses and I went to SRM AP in Guntur.

I am passionate about computer science as I came from CBSE I had the experience of SQL and some CSE courses So I wanted to choose CSE. The faculty to Student ratio is 1:10. All the faculty are having Ph.D. and good and I did a few research papers with them. The term exam's are ok-ish if we study and listen to the classes we can pull off the exams.

APSDC it's a government initiative where students can enroll and learn new technologies and need to do a industry-grade project. No stipend is offered but students can learn tech stacks. Like people who took AI ML built a chatbot.

Students can enroll in Placements in the 6th semester and 500+ companies visit and the 2x rule will be applied. Highest package last year was 50 lakhs by PVP Japan. Avg package 7lpa,100% got placement. I thinking to enroll in Placements.

The fee structure is 250000 and it's the same for 4 years and for CBSE I got 50% concession so I need to pay 1.25 L We need to pay 6-10 k for every semester for the examination fee and we can a loan on campus and there are banks tied up with the university.

ALOHA is first conducted and the tech fest (Hack SRM) was conducted in May and it was good. They have a wide variety of books and journals and if not available you can request and receive them. All classrooms have AC and revolving chairs and too good classes. An Instagram group called srmap .

The hostel is so good we have lifts and games like table tennis and shuttle and cricket. The meal is good for me I like it as it's not spicy and video variety is available. In the student portal, we can book the hostel.
