Remarks

Admission process was very easy, because college has a dedicated admission portal in which students can easily apply for admission. If you are trying to get admission through management quota, then you have clear the entrance exam specific to the opted course.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took the course BCA because I am very interested in technology-related subjects and BCA is all about technology. There are 6 semesters and there is an exam in each semester in the college itself from Kannur University. There are a lot of other opportunities for developing our career like coding programs IT quiz, presentation, etc. Make us a professional. And they gave placement training from 1st year onwards and make us get placed.

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Not much expensive compared to other colleges. There is little bit difference in each course. But almost same and the fee seperated for add on courses. For BCA it is 150000 for 3 year include all fees.

Campus Life

Don Bosco arts and science college is famous for its extracurricular activities. Each year college conduct Arts day, Sports day, Comet (Dep. Commerce fest), Equinox ( Dep. BBA fest), Dhiya (Dep. English fest) etc. College management is very supportive to conduct extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

There are two boys hostels and three girls hostels available. Hostels are great in terms of food and accommodation. One negative about the hostels is the mobile phone restriction, you can only use mobile phones in the allotted time.

I thought this course will be useful for the future. So i choose this course. Subjects teaching can be made more relatable to the course and future. Maybe they can add day gaps between exams. The exams are conducted in consecutive days, each day two exams.

The experiences at my College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The unique aspect I found at Chinmaya Viswavidyapeeth is that they involve courses that shape an individual to his/ her best version. They teach us the aspects of life and how to enter and solve an issue with confidence. There are improvements needed in few areas but the overall performance is great and we know that the management is trying hard. The time between exams are a bit short but the frequency is not much, their difficulty level is based on the course's difficulty level.

In the new world of technology it is more good to study something related to the future. In short i felt bca has more scope in future . Teaching are not relevant for the future world. They should upgrade their teaching methods and the syllabus is not upto date . We are still studying about the old generation techniques.
