Course Curriculum Overview
M.Ed is a professional course for a teaching job in higher-level education. Candidates become acquainted with different types of subjects like the Historical and Political perspective of Education, Educational Psychology, the Sociological Foundation of Education, Comparative Education, etc. In semester 4, there are only elective subjects among those Distance education and Open learning, Curriculum studies, Teacher Education, etc are noteworthy. Elective subjects depend on the subject taken in the B.Ed course.
Placement Experience
There is a separate placement cell in the university that offers research opportunities to the students. The average salary was around Rs 2.5 lacs per annum. In the M.Ed course, 8 weeks fieldwork is mandatory for students in different teaching organizations.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee is taken as Rs 2,000 per year. Admission and registration fees are Rs 100 and Rs 125 respectively. Other fees are taken as Rs 3,720 in the first year and 2,640 in the second year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Rajiv Gandhi National fellowship is given for SC, ST students. Candidates get scholarships according to their entrance exam scores. Students can avail for bank loans.
Campus Life
Different notable alumni visit the campus from time to time. Students are happy with the infrastructure of the campus. The water and wifi system of the campus is available on a 24x7 hours basis.
Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. A serene atmosphere prevails in the hostel campus. Rs 1000 per month is taken for the hostel fee.
Admission
Candidates who have B.Ed degree can opt for this course. The university grants an entrance exam for the admission of the M.Ed course.
