The best business school in Odisha.

A simple graduate from any streams can apply for any MBA entrances like CAT, OJEE, MAT ,GITEE etc. I gave OJEE and got a good rank (45th) , I could have get a seat in any government college as I want to pursue MBA but I finally opted for GIMS, Rayagada because the placement record and the faculty is just top notch here. After I gave OJEE, the counselling process was done by OJEE officials, I gote selected in GIMS which was my first selection.You can just attend the offline examination conducted by the college for any admission into the university, GIETEE. There is an official website of the university, www.giet.edu.com . Admission process was smooth, all the admission cell memebers were so helpfull, but the only problem I found out while doing my admission that they were demanding the full semester Money on the same day, thankfully I had my credit card with me. Overall it was great and I'm currently studying in GIMS .

I researched everything about GIMS and I found out that they have the best faculty. Our professors have many years of teaching experience, the way they teach through case studies is just out of the world.14 professors are teaching here, and all of them are highly educated. They are all Ph.D. holders. We even have one proctor assigned to 10 students, who listen to all the problems we face, even she takes extra classes of us if we find any topic hard to understand. I haven't been given any exams yet just some class tests as I joined this course just a few months ago. As I heard from my seniors, the examination is moderate, if you study regularly and attend all the classes you'll get through.

There are 3 months of internship provided by our university in the 3rd semester. As I am now in 1st semester, I can't give any details regarding it.But as I collected some data from senior they said, you'll get to work in a company for 3 months and you'll also a get stipend of 8k or something, and if you do goodness an intern they might hire you as a permanent employee.

From the 3rd semester, our students become eligible to seat in placement interviews. Even a lot of students get selected in the 3rd semester and after the semester they usually go to the selected companies. Last year mind tree hired 3 students with an average package of 11lpa, which was the highest. Thr lowest lpa offered was 2.3 lakhs. In 2020, 97% of students were selected for campus placement and many of them were MNCs.I am planning to get a good job and crack an interview.I am looking for a good company where i can work for a few years and then I'll do my Ph.D. in this same University only.

I joined the MBA programme and the cost for this course is 90000 per year that is for two years I have to pay 180000 to them.I even opted for hostel facility which cost me extra 70000 per year and for two years it is ,140000. There are no scholarship or any kind of stipend assistance provided by the college to the students.But I think it's quite affordable cause if you do MBA in any other colleges you'll find that their fees is much higher than that of GIMS's .As I found out, 97% percentage of students are placed previous year in top companies.Even this year few seniors are already placed in some top tier companies.

Every year a lot of international conferences are being held in our university,just a few days ago our fresher's meet was held in campus.Out seniors greeted us and it was very good to experience in real life . Many webinars and seminars are also conducted in our college every month.There is a playground and we usually go there to play soccer.There is also a swimming pool . There are a lot of clubs made by students, I joined a club named as TEAM WE CARE , basically we provide notebooks and food items to poor students in the locality under 15 years .

I live in galeleo hostel, where I got a good room and the floor is of marble, with attached bathroom and toilet. In that room, we are 2 students living in. We both are from the same MBA branch do it's easier to live with him. There is a central mess where we go to eat our breakfast, launch, snacks, dinner. The food quality is too good here, the best thing I found out is that the hygiene maintained by our cooks is great. There is chapati making machine. In a week you'll get 4 days nonveg meals. For 70000 all these facilities are quite good.

Yes, there was a group discussion conducted while I joined this college. But it was not that hard to crack. They asked some simple questions, and it was quite easy to answer. As I gave OJEE and got a good rank, they gave me preference.I prepared for this round by doing watching some YouTube tutorials, and I also searched in college dunia how to face such GDS, I read some reviews of individuals and it helped me a lot.
