DBIT is a good college!

I had written kcet entrance exam, through kcet i got admission to the college. People there guide us to admission block. Right when you get into the admission block, you will find the enquiry the section, there they will provide the application form and we need to fill the form, apllication form costs around 1000rs. Then u have to present the dd/challan that u paid to government and pay the college fees as per the college guidelines. If you want to see the college there will be attenders who can takes us to campus, they will guide us to all the departments like each branch department, library, cafeteria, college canteen,sports ground,auditorium etc You will get to see the the infrastruture of the college.

I had chosen the electronics and communication course since there will be a choice to get into the hardware field. There are plenty of PhD holders among faculty many of them have done their masters in their respective fields. Faculty are well disciplined and have good knowledge in their subjects, they make subjects looks interesting. Exams are quite tough and they are regularly conducted.

In college, they provided internships based on AI n ML, VLSI. Since I was interested in IoT I did my internship on IoT in vijaynagar. Project named CAR SAFETY and FUEL MONITORING SYSTEM. It was left to us to do internships in reputed companies for a period of 4 weeks or more. There were no such opportunities like companies offering internship. We have to find ourselves one for us.

In our period there were plenty of opportunities to get into companies. Many of my friends got into good companies. You will need a minimum of 60% to try for placements. As per my knowledge 8 lakh, CTC was the highest. On average of 3-4 lakh CTC we will get.

In general, 86k was the fee when we joined and it remained constant for all the 4 years and there was no discount on covid times. There will be snq quota too. We can apply for the scholarship. Epass was the scholarship scheme we have applied for. Other than that there are scholarships for minors and other category people.

No matter what, you will enjoy campus life at its best. The campus is well built and spacious. There are plenty of spaces to spend time. Canteen, library, cafeteria, two playgrounds. You can see plenty of books by different authors. We have the best sports supporting staff who take us to the different levels through college. There will be fests, Kannada rajyotsava and many functions regularly.
