MY COLLEGE MY PRIDE

The college is one of the finest and oldest colleges in Odisha. It is named after the famous personality Samanta chandra sekhara also called as pathani Samanta.I took admission in this college ib b.sc botany honors one of the leading colleges of odisha situated at lord jaggatnath dhan puri.the faculty of this college is very supportive.I admission here THROUGH my percentage mark in 12th class as I have no reservations ao I got admission on the 2nd attempt. So there should be an entrance exam

I love the course botany .it is the study of plant science .here the coll6is good and 52 seat available in this course in this college. The faculty are highly qualified faculty ao good at teaching. Athens timing of exam previously fixed ao very good experience as the teachers are good so pass in the exam easy

The different internship programs also going on at the college. Different companies like tata, Mahindra introduced different internship programs for the students so that students get benefitted acquainted and also for future experience. They also get stipends from this internship program and attach to different projects that will help them in the future.

From the 5th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Different national regional and multinational companies are also participating in this campus placement.I am into my last semester so I am eligible now and want to secure a job in some companies

As it is a government college ao fees are not much high only admission of 2000 rs every year then re-admission every year with little increases there is also the facility of scholarships like prerana scholarship and others are there. So that every poor student benefits from this system.

The campus is so huge it has a big field inside it. every curricular activity like playing, organizing different ceremonies occurs here. the campus is also full of trees so always feels natural. Also, there is a canteen available inside the campus. one big hall is also attached with a library where all types of books are available here. students are studying all day there. As part of extracurricular activities, there are annual sports and other district level and state level competitions also there.

I stay in the college hostel. the rooms are ao big with provided with bed and table for study for the student. The hostel is very close to the college so there is no problem for the students. The hostel fees are also months like just 3500rs per month. Ao, that's why it is affordable for the students. There is also a television for entertainment. So good experience
