Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course due to my interest in mechanical engineering. Faculty to student ratio is good. Faculty members are well-qualified and experienced professors with min. qualification of a Ph.D. Exams are all as per the schedule and moderately difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Companies offer a stipend of around 20,000 to 30,000 for core internships and 30,000, 50,000, or even up to 1,50,000 or more for coding-related internships. They require various skills based upon the type of internship they are offering.
Placement Experience
From semester 5th companies start visiting the college for internships and for placement from 7th semester. Various companies like Bajaj, Hero, reliance (just to name a few) visit the college. A good percentage of students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a gradual fees hike year by year but it's all worth it. There are financial assistance for the reserved category as well as your 2/3rd tuition fees will be waived off if your family income is between 2 to 5 lakhs.
Campus Life
Technosearch ( technical fest) and maffick (cultural fest) are organized every year (one each semester). There are lots of books available in the library and various cultural, technical, dramatic, management and NGO societies are there in the college.
Hostel Facilities
You are provided with a mess and wifi facility in hostels. There are TT rooms, tv rooms, common areas in the hostels. Food quality is okayish (not bad if compared to other mess food) still a lot of variety is available and the mess committee is run by students.
