Ph.D course in Education

Kalinga University is among the few universities that have international value in the field of education. Students from the countries like Afghanistan, Uganda, Nigeria, South Korea, etc come to the academy for its excellent teaching process.

The university's Ph.D has three years duration. First-year deals with course work of the Education subject. The program includes Educational Policy, Educational Psychology, Educational Administration etc. Dissertation and thesis paper start after the comprehensive exam at the end of the first year.

KU's placement cell arranges different kinds of soft skills to achieve their goals. Some of these are the Aptitude test, group discussion, the personality development process for the interview, etc. They organize guest lecturers where students get introduced to their companies and know about their expectations. Major recruiters include Tata Motors, Sail, Global logic, etc.

The total fee that is charged for the course, is Rs 3,52,000. It includes amenities expenses for the course.

KU gives the following scholarships like Social Scholarship, Merit Scholarship, Achiever Scholarship, Sibling Scholarship, etc. 50% of scholarships are reserved for military personnel of the country. 30% scholarships are given to female applicants.

Infrastructures like indoor, outdoor game facilities, canteen, separate common rooms for boys and girls, etc shine the institute's popularity. The university's transport facility, tuck shop, ATM facility, drinking water dispensary, etc fulfill the demands of the students.

Girls' and boys' hostels are available here with well infrastructures. Rs 78,000 is taken for boys hostel and Rs 61,000 for girls hostel annually.

The university offers minimum Master's degree criteria in the relevant discipline with 55% marks for Ph.D admission. The students have to qualify NET/GATE/SLET/SET for the admission.
