I choose civil engineering as I'm fascinated by building structures. There is one faculty for every 60 students. Most of the faculty are nitians and PhD holder's and have their own interesting teaching methods. Industrial visits are offered by colleges to polish up students practical experience. The student got a chance in BHILAI STEEL PLANT, CG PWD. Every group of students are assigned a project related to their field of interest which clarifys their motive and doubt.

From 3rd year students get a chance to place, many companies visit campus for interviews. Many companies like byju's, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Accenture etc come along with their offers. The highest offer is 18 LPA. The average offer is 4-5 LPA. Depending upon company profiles. Almost 60% of students get placed. Students opt for PSUs or MTECH after their degree.

Approx 74000 yearly as tuition fees is charged by the college. A scholarship is also provided every year. Under certain terms and conditions. On campus, students got many internship opportunities and good placements.

Every year a fest is conducted in college named SAMVID in the month of December. The library is big and contains a vast variety of books. Every class have accommodation of at least 90 students and an installed smart class. Sports and extracurricular activities are performed by students continuum with studies. A social group NSS is run by students in direction of faculties.

Hostel rooms have accommodation of 2 in every room. The room is facilitated with fans, bed, cupboard, study table. The food is quite good. Registration is done from college. Rather than hostel students can also opt for PG near the college.
