Remarks

For getting admission in this college you have to clear exams conducted by guru Gobind Singh indraprastha University ggsipu exams or you can apply through jee mains. In ipu exam you can get this college if your rank is around or less than 13k If you didn't get this college while college selection go for spot round you will definitely get it even if ur rank is around 20000 you can get ipu exam notification and application forms from ipu.co.in .my friend availed the ews benefits so he got scholarship from the college also college has different scholarship exams for economically weaker students . The selection process is not upto the mark in ipu you cannot decide which college to take ipu will just allot you seats randomly from college you have filled without any criteria also you have to submit admission fee to ipu then rest fee in college on same day and they are far from each other so better you have your own vehicle so you can compute from dwarka to greater Noida which is approx 100km

I love to code in computer from class 8 I was into computers graphic design and photoshop etc . So I took non med and started to learn coding I refer many People for this college this college has Amazing faculty staff also every one was so friendly in college teacher helps students every teacher is phd they have separate teacher for ml ai graphic design data science database so here you will get good education . Ipu decides the exam dates and exams are not that hard if you have studied just study last 5 yr questions and you will get 50+ easily

Ibm came in for software developer traine . Rapipay for a full stack developer wipro for software developer traine TCS for software developer intern instacity for quality assurance analyst and many other companies with good package for mostly full stack and backend developer . In these companies you have to first study the language their program are then you work on live projects with all the database

In this college placement are too God as compared to other colleges from 1st year you can do internship with company like training bee and ibm alsoft solution and paid internship from 6th semester . Highest package for cse student is 12lpa aand lowest is 4lpa also you should not have any backlogs or any pending exam before sitting for interview process and you should have min 65 % to be eligible in most of the company interview. I am placed and will do job after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study for 4 yr for btech is around 4.5 lakh around 1lakh 10thousand per year . The hike policy is according to guri Gobind Singh indraprastha University if they send any notice to hike the fee college and student have to accept it ipu is formally government so fiee is not hiked so often . There are many scholarship exams from this college . I got placed for ?10lpa in grapecity . Also Amazon came here for placement and many other big company like Infosys TCS wipro etc

Many annual fests are conducted in our college also biggest fest is from ipu that is held in dwarka in main campus in our college there are many fest organised by hashtag the technical society enactus and rotary clubs for awareness. Many inter college cricket and pool events are held on regular intervals. There are many cropus in our college like enactus hashtag cscoderhub rotary Robin hood army etc

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

I chose this college because it's affiliated with ggssipu and the location. I also chose this college because of its placement reviews and faculty reviews. It also has great infrastructure. I applied to many other colleges our of station. And I get into them as well but this was the best option from all of it due to location and ipu. Beyond the classrooms: how JIMS shape students career.

The admission process is very simple. It is done on the basis of your jee rank for btech course. The admission is also done on merit basis based on your class 12 marks in pcm as well as overall. After the jee exam one needs to apply for the separate counselling for ggsipu admissions and then according to the cutoff and one's rank the admission is done. For merit based admission one needs to contact the college administration. I chose this college as it is near to my place plus it does not impose the uniform on students which is a big relief.
