Remarks

My admission was based on the IPU CET exam where I got 14k rank and was allotted JEMTEC in my sliding round of counselling. For counselling and CET details please refer to the GGSIPU website regularly. I was having my State quota. The admission process is a bit lengthy and time taking as IP University postpones the dates several times.

Course Curriculum Overview

Term exams are on time and the date sheet is released on the IP University's website. The difficulty level is moderate. Students need to learn things on their own from online study materials as they progress in their courses. The exams shouldn't be taken lightly as they affect the aggregate % and that is considered at the time of placements.

VectorScalar: 15k, 3 Pillar Global: 12k, OneBCG: 15k, RapiPay: 37k, There were several other companies that were giving an average internship of 14k with specified months of internships and job security and bonds.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. There were several companies that showed up on the campus such as TCS, WIPRO, VectorScalar, GrapeCity, OneBCG, 3 Pillar Global, etc. 60% of the students got placed in their 7th semester. And I have planned to go with my job after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't apply for any scholarship or Financial Assistance as I was not eligible for that but coming to the job placements. The average package was 4-5 Lakhs and most of the students who got placed were from the CSE branch.

Campus Life

There are several social groups run in the college including the very popular Enactus, Rotaract clubs, cricket, dancing and singing clubs. One can voluntarily join any of these. The seniors are the supervisors of these clubs.

Placements are quite good at Galgotias University, If you are consistent throughout your academic life then definitely you will get placed. Companies visits university for the placement and students get placed. Recently VISA, Wipro, One Bank, Josh visited the campus and offered the packages.

IET Lucknow good or bad ?

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible after 3 year for placement they can show case their skills to the companies and get placement. Companies visiting are amazon, bajaj, tcs, google, Deloitte, flipkart and other tech based companies. Highest last year was 50 lpa offered by Amazon and average was 10 for cse braches. All majority of cs students were campus placed. My plans currently after degree is doing job in a mnc with a side earning by trading and editing videos or you can say doing a freelancing working part time

Life @ IITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Kanpur are excellent, especially in core engineering, software, analytics, and finance sectors . Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester(B.Tech). Top recuiters include Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, and Texas Instruments , startups and PSUs like IOCL and ISRO also visit. Highest package was around 1.5Cr/annum, while avg package for mechanical is 18Lpa. Over 84% of eligible students get placed . After my degree , I plan to pursue higher studies .

after 8th semesters , students become eligible for campus placements...many small companies visit here for placements and some big companies too like BYJUs and others.. Highest package is 12 Lacs per annum and lowest 1.5 lacs per annum Average package is around 5 lacs per annum. Percentage of students getting placed is around 50% from campus placements ... Many students prepare for competitive exams after course completion like GATE , UPSC ESE and CSE , RRB JE , AE JE , STATE AE JE SSC JE etc .

Positive things are college have good infrastructure actually its a best infrastructure among all the college in the city, in addition there is a temple of Lors Shri Krishna and radha ji which comes in biggest temple of shri krishna in city Negative is only there no placements and they are also not for trying for that.

The very first impression of the college was an average one.

Remarks:

I wont give any remarks because i think it depends upon students that how he will perform.The college has a very good platform for Biotech students as they offer research and jobs in their own labs. The overall experience was very good. It was a beautiful journey with events faculties crowd and practical situations. The life teaches you how to interact and react with every situation in life.The seminars, internships and regular technical and non technical activities gives a vast experience of academics and life.

A genuine review about the college

I chose this college because it's affiliated with ggssipu and the location. I also chose this college because of its placement reviews and faculty reviews. It also has great infrastructure. I applied to many other colleges our of station. And I get into them as well but this was the best option from all of it due to location and ipu. Beyond the classrooms: how JIMS shape students career.

The admission process is very simple. It is done on the basis of your jee rank for btech course. The admission is also done on merit basis based on your class 12 marks in pcm as well as overall. After the jee exam one needs to apply for the separate counselling for ggsipu admissions and then according to the cutoff and one's rank the admission is done. For merit based admission one needs to contact the college administration. I chose this college as it is near to my place plus it does not impose the uniform on students which is a big relief.
