Karunya University Entrance Exam. I got 1600 rank in this exam and later came for booking a seat and then followed the required procedures.

I took Aerospace Engineering because the concepts that involve in this subject is very good. This will help me to get into good companies because of its scope. Aerospace industry is emerging as one of the best field for job. This will help us to design planes/jet engines or any thing that is related to the topic.

Since I am a first year student and don't know much about this because no faculty have said anything about this but I can tell you somethings. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, Tata and Cognizant.

Karunya has a creditable record of placement of its final year students and graduates. A good number of final year students plan to go for higher studies in India or abroad or turn entrepreneurs.As per recent trends about 80% of eligible final year students, who seek a placement, are placed with reputed organizations at the initiative of the Karunya University prior to their leaving the campus.

Religious events related to Christianity will be taking place every month. So far, they have celebrated Christmas and have given holidays on Pongal, Diwali and Onam. The departments also conduct departmental workshops. Recently, mechanical department had conducted 'Pitstop' .

Fee structure is feasible and can be paid even by a common man by taking loan from banks, which can then be paid after getting job/placement. For Aerospace department, it comes out to be 11.2 lakhs for four years including the hostel. A bit cheaper for ECE and Cs. And a bit extra for mechanical.

I have no idea about this because I have not taken one. Regarding the loan students can avail loan from banks which they must repay after getting placed in companies after the completion of the course.

Extracurricular events like cricket matches, events like visiting orphanages and old age homes are conducted. There is a separate department for this in the college campus. Labs are also very good equipped. Sports is also given equal preference. A good number of grounds and courts are there for one who plays a lot. A gymnasium is also present.

A separate Alumni cell is present, where good college passed out students come and give a talk about their experience. Yes, they are really helpful for a guy who needs support from others to get him encouraged.

Exam in the first semester is conducted every 3 classes, we will have a test out of 20 marks. This is in the form of 'block tests'. In second semester, there is a bit turn. Exams are conducted every 25 days. This is conducted in the form of 'internals'.

I applied for the entrance exam online (my Dad had said about the college website where I can apply online), went to the exam center and wrote the exam. Result was announced and I went to the admission process. The administration is very good and were very friendly. Instructed in a very good manner.

The faculty of first year students is not up to the mark because we have basic subjects like chemistry, business management and mathematics which we already had studied. They come, take attendance teach, and leave. The subjects in first year is not good. When it comes to second year and later, Aerospace is very interesting, as I have heard from a senior.
