Remarks

After completion of graduation(B.Sc) in Mathematics, i'm dealing with entrance exam. So cutoff for M.Sc in Mathematics admission is completely depends on your 50% graduation average marks + 50% entrance exam marks. if your rank is upto 23 then you will easily get a hostel facility also

Course Curriculum Overview

M.Sc in Mathematics 2 years curriculum divides into 4 semesters so syllabus of every semester having 5 subjects. syllabus of every subject is lengthy and theorem related. The qualification and experience of every faculty member are upto the mark. you can easily crack all semester exam if you study regularly

Currently for 1st-year Students fess is 40000rs per year Eklavaya scholarship is also there for open category candidates who passed graduation with distinction. campus jobs are also available if student wants

youth festival, tech fest, convocation fest,gathering etc festivals are there in every year.In a library a countable number of books are available even periadic section as well as internet facility for 24 hours available in university campus. classrooms are also nice and clean. sports activity is conducted in even semester every year.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility in Shivaji university is top notch beacause 24 hours light facility,24 hours availability of hot water,in every room only two candidate are there for them 2 beds + 2 tables and 2 lockes are available. and even representative mess facility is also from student side.for study purpose study plane is available for 24hours

The best place to get admission

Placement Experience:

Students who completed their masters are eligible for placements. Companies include Pharma, Biotech, R&d, agri companies, food industries, we can apply there. Well from 3rd semester students can apply and visit different companies previously, haidrabad, banglore are visited by our seniors. Students get salary of 30000-40000 ,there are students selected for multiple high rated companies. 30-40% Students get placed. I want to pursue Phd from India as I am more focus in research.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. I am going to start the process now from june. The companies such as springCT, Josh, Omniscient, Bluepineapple,etc. come for campus placements. Some companies make offers in lot or some lpick only 2/3. Almost all students get internships. In 4th semester we have to do internship compulsory. Average package is 7lpa if its a job offer if its an internship the it is lesser.

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.
