Ankit Kumar's Review On ITM University, Gwalior

IIT JEE, I scored 92 marks in this exam. My friend's brother was from this college, so I checked it over the internet and surprised to see the unbelievable placements. So I joined.

I thought that computer science is only about computers and electronic devices. But when I joined my 1st semester class. I was surprised to see the subjects. There are 5 subjects in each semester. 1st semester consists of Basic chemistry, engineering maths-1, communication skills, basic electrical, engineering drawing. I thought that why I got other subjects, because I am a computer science student, so why not computer subjects.

Yes, our college provides internship, we have to be a part of that training part and the students who are interested can join and go for the internship. Our college gives a vacation for this. So that no loss in study will be occured from the college.

Placements and job opportunities are quite awesome. For computer science, electronics & communication, information technology. The placement and job opportunities are awesome. A student gets 32 chances to be selected for a company that means 32 companies comes for a single student. It's enough for a student to get job. Because 32 is so much.

When we join college. Then our seniors gives us a party that is known as introduction party. In that 1st year students participate for being Mr and Mrs fresher. Then each year dj party is organised 3 times. Then each year a famous singer or dancer or band comes to entertain us and for their promotion.

Fee structure is as per the courses. Fee is not so much. We can afford it easily. All middle classes family are able to make their childs to take degree from this college. The fee structure is 35000 for a semester. That is not too much like the other colleges. It gives proper degree at a desired fee. So no one have to think for too much to take admission in this college.

Scholarship is not availed by me. Because the scholarship was for the students who have some category I.e. OBC, SC and St. I belong to general category so I didn't get any scholarship from the college. However, I got a scholarship from railway because my father is in railway. Railway provides scholarship for the students who are persuing engineering.

Campus life is awesome because it's green environment and so birds are there. So it gives pleasant sound of chirping of birds. The hostel consists of separate hostels for girls and boys. The ratio of girls and boys is not equal. The ratio of boys to girls is 2:1. That is boys are more. Also two hostels are there for boys. But only a single hostel is present for girls. In campus there are fields for playing games.

Exam structures are good. First of all college checks that if we have any due or not then no dues form is submitted. Then the college forwards the form to the board that is RGPV. Then we have to fill exam forms at a desired cost. Then admit card comes to our profile. Then practical exams are conducted. After the practical exams. Main exams date comes and we will have to give that then after 2 to 3 months results are provided.

I applied in mp online. There I applied for 2nd round pool. Because when I came to know about mp online, the 1st round pool was over. So I got a chance for the second round. And after that I was selected for this college. I chosed two branches, first one was computer science and the another one was mechanical.

My faculties are good. Well qualified. They take classes regularly. Their is a feeling in college that we are still in school because the teachers takes classes regularly without any leave and assignments also comes time to time, so there were no time for us to be free and enjoy some extra activities. The faculties have a good communication skill.
