Entrance Preview

I did not choose for an entrance but I had other options to choose from. However this college was near to me and I learnt that great many people have studied in this college which has generated several visionaries and leaders in corporate industry.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was limited during those days, but however, the course I chose was Bachelor of Business Administration and the final semester of this course had a project work. Due to the college brand name we underwent live practical on the job training at SICAL, Chennai in their HR and Administration department.

Placement Experience

I am not sure about the evening colleges but I suppose those days the day college pupils had the opportunity and prospect of getting selected in placements especially those in science and computer application departments. The evening college did not see any placement and job opportunities atleast till year 2000 in which I passed out.

College Events

We used to celebrate the following in a large way Annual day, Independence day, Republic day, Student's day, Teacher's day, Sports day.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is awarded in two ways. One is for the unprivileged low income students and other is for extraordinary performance by pupils are awarded/rewarded by the college trust.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is pretty simple. During my college days, there used to be monthly revision in certain subjects conducted by our professors, especially the Operations research and Management accounting had almost everyday revisions. This really helped us a lot during our final exams. Labs sessions (especially for computers) offered once in a while but a thorough knowledge was provided in that short period.

Admission

Admission was simple. One just has to walk in during the defined dates to college premises with mark sheet and once shortlisted, shall be intimated by post (during 1997) now the system might me much more simpler and faster through email or other digital forms. Pay the fee and join during the said date. T

Placement Experience:

VIT has a very good placement and the placement rate is 99.2%. the highest package is 1Cr. CTC. the average CTC is arounf 600000. around 200 companies visit VIT everyear. from the 5th semester placments and placement training will be started. students should have minimun of 7cgpa and 60% in their school educations. and students with standing arrers are not allowed to sit for placments. currently i'm looking for the placements in my college

Brutally Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

The placement process begins from the third year i.e. the fifth and sixth sem. But be warned the placement is pure dabba. The companies that visited are goldman sachs, pick your trail, venture lts, greenbay, taj, audible, TCS, etc. the package varies from 3.4 LPA to 12 LPA. These are just peanut money btw. The college says there's 100% placements ( joke of the century) but in reality only 70% gets placed. I plan to do MBA from a different college.

There are 3 departments in my college.Except my department other 2 department students can go for interviews for jobs and internships.My Aviation related jobs requires a degree certificate to attend interview.I can place on any airlines with the advantage of holding a aviation degree In my department, Placement rate is 99% I assure that.My plan is to get place on any role in airport to gain experience to become a Male cabin crew (Flight Attendent).

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took BBA as I personally business which lead me to take this course and it has more opportunities too.. this course will prepare you to shape your career you have to do internships and project which will help you to improve you more .. the areas of improvement are we expect outdoor classes also so that students can learn more the timing is quite okay.. it's 9 30 to 4 so it won't make you difficult

I actually for two other colleges in Chennai, one is Loyola and the other is dgvc. I didn't get seat in Loyola even though I got very good marks 552/600 which includes a centum in commerce and 99 in accounts. After that I applied in dgvc where at first I didn't get counseling but once I paid fees in this College am jain college I got admission there..I asked for a refund in my college but they didn't provide me so I joined here.
