Best choice for arts lovers (BA)

At the choice filling, I opt for three colleges i.e, Shri atal Bihari arts and commerce college, goverment of maharani girls pg college, and bherulal Patidar. But at last, I decided to take admission in GOVERNMENT MAHARANI LAXMI BAI GIRLS COLLEGE because this college has more opportunities in arts field either than these two colleges they have subjects like music, dance, music instrument, painting and many more. These make my mind to go to this college. I had taken in General category. The admission process is simple and the same as every college, students must choose this college at the time of choice filling. The college conducts three-level counseling according to the percentage of the students who will get the seat. At the average level, a student who passed 75% or more will be easily selected in 1st level counseling itself. And minimum marks depend and vary every year with the vacant seats and no minimum age all needed is a student must be passed 12th with an average passing percentile.

I had chosen this course because I have an interest in arts subject and this college has more facility for the art field. Overall faculty is supportive and well trained and experienced. They teach students at their best and which more in students favors. Well, the one and only thing that make me happy about my choice is the faculty and their qualification mostly professors who have a doctrine degree in the subject. They teach in a simple and understanding way which makes a student comfortable and likely. Exams are conducted once a year but at the college level tests and assignments are given to students for improving the percentage they are at an average level. A well-studied student can easily score well.

Internships are not provided well at the college level and the roles offered are mostly data entry operator or assistant. Not many projects are done mostly social projects are done at college. College is affiliated with 'B GRADE' by NAAC.

From 3rd year students are eligible for placement mostly local companies came and opt for not that good. The highest salary package is 50,000 and the average package is 20000. Merely 10% of students get placements. I am currently preparing for civil services.

Cost of course is very low in comparison to other colleges they didn't charge unnecessary they opt for fees with a limit. Students eligible for scholarships get every year scholarship. Pratibha Kiran, medhavi, and many more Scholarships affiliated with the goverment are schemes for scholarships. Jobs are very limited merely students get jobs from college with stipends.

Usually, annual fests are conducted in Feb month. No tech fests are conducted usually. Books are less in the library mostly useable for courses. Classroom and infrastructure are not that effective. Sports are good a separate and well-managed departments are available for students to help and a well-experienced coach is facilitating for students.

The hostel is good but the food is not so good simply a bed or fan is facilitated for students. Quality and quantity are not good in comparison to fees. A student must fill a form in college to apply to a hostel according to the percentage they will get a seat. Locality near the college are bada ganpati, jinsi square, mari mata square and scheme 51 all these are under 4 km radius.

No written tests are for admission. Mostly current affairs and occasion-wise topics vary for gd. The only criteria used for admission is a percentage basis. Students must be applied for choice filling through cyber and wait for their selection.
