I wrote EAMCET and secured rank of 87,452. So I was unable to get seat in a good college and in good stream. Then I decided to join one of the reputed colleges. Then I came across my college's name. As of the reputation this college is having and the enquiry I made about the statistics of this college made an impression for me to join this college.

My college is an autonomous institute. so, it has the it's own opportunity to frame it's own academic curriculum under the affiliation of JNTUK. Everything is made of reliable syllabus and shorted where t is really needed and made an optimal structure.But coming to examinations the standard which assess the students caliber is not up to mark.

Yes of course, In this stream I'm completely satisfied with my college's action. It is succeeding in providing the 1 month and full semester internships to 2'nd and final year students in most the reputed companies. In fact I have done my 1 month internship at our own group company GMR's Hyderabad Airport.

It's quite good but not extreme. the rate of recruitment is getting degraded year by year. Yet my college is succeeded in providing about minimum of 350 placements over all on average every year. The major IT techies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capegemini, are proving placements every year. But I'm not that they would continue to give the placements in future too.

The major event that is conducted in my college is STEPCONE which is a technical fest. And an Annual day event is engaged every year in month of march. Only those two are the major events that are conducted where one is technical and other is management event. Coming to STEPCONE it's a pure technical event which provides a platform for the students.

This college vends huge fee.It's one of the expensive colleges in the state. It is charging more than 1 lac of rupees per year of study. And for hostel they are charging up to 70,000/- per year which is actually non-ac and food without non-veg. Infrastructure wise this college is so far better. But academically and quality of offering facilities it's more and more expensive.

There are really good schemes of providing scholarships to the students. The students who secure rank of below 20,000/- in the entrance test EAMCET they are provided with a scholarship of nearly 16,000/- if he/she secures a GPA of 7 or above 7 in that academic year.

I joined this college through management quota. As of that I have no good enough rank to get a seat through convener quota. I just came to college and spoke to administrative head of college and gone through the terms and policies. I asked to get me admission in Electronics branch and they said that I need to pay particular amount and they said about all the required certificates that I need to submit.

The time when I joined this my department(Electronics and communications engg.dept) consists of 4 Ph.D professors including HOD. but later on it got decreased to 1 Ph.D professor and rest of all are assistant and associate professors. Not only in my Dept but in all other departments there is the same situation. If I should really talk about faculty it's really disappointing.
