Entrance Preview

I got into this university through a state engineering quota, Meghalaya being my domicile state. Also i got into this university based on preferences i filled when applying for the engineering quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would say it's average from my point of view, although the university is undergoing renovation at the moment with a new department already opened last semester. Electives are good and helpful to students in order to focus on the studies and to remind them about other things to learn other than the course that they opt.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it does provide internship, but about the stipend and all its not to my knowledge since i m just an undergraduate student and still studying.

Placement Experience

There are good placement and job opportunities in the university, with the number of placed students increasing every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is approximately about 1 lakh per year (two semesters) including mess fees of Rs.12000 per semester. Below are the fee details for 4th year B.Tech students. 7th semester- Rs.49515, 8th semester- Rs.45150, The above total fees also include the mess fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offer scholarship to all students but only those of domicile state of Uttar Pradesh only. The scholarship the students got is about up to 60 to 70 percent of the total college fees.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is may be 7:3 of boys to girls. Most of the students here are of native Uttar Pradesh, but there are few students from other states of india also, like from Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, and also from northeast states of Nagaland and from my state Meghalaya. Most of the students are Hindus, and some are Muslims, and the students from northeast are almost all Christians.

Exam Structure

The exams structure is normal not too hectic nor slow paced. Usually there will at least one day gap up to 4 days gap sometimes. So you can say that its fine and the students are not tested so much. And for the labs it usually conducts after the theory exams are over.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty in general is good, with good qualifications and teaching experience on their sleeves. The faculty follows general standards like most universities. Most of the ones that take my class are friendly and fond of students and teaching as a whole.

Affordable college with good placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BTech because I wanted to explore how real world works with technology and to know the insights of technology. The college mostly provides theoretical knowledge and not the practical knowledge refraining us from more exposure to real world problems. If the course is shifted from theoretical to practical it'll be really helpful. Two exams are conducted per semester, and the difficulty level is moderate.

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester students are elligible for Campus placements. The Median package is around 4.5 LPA. Some good companies giving students package of around 10 LPA also visit our college whereas some mass recuriter companies like also visit our college are TCS, Infosys, wipro and cognizant. Here, In this College Placement percentage is good and around 80-90% student get placed.

This collage has good return on investement. Its campus size is huge. On the basis of rank this collage offers decent placement. It is better than other state collages of UP.
