Karpagam college of engineering, coimbatore review

I am studying at karpagam college of engineering Coimbatore. 2018-2022 batch. academic fees- 150000/yr. Hostel fees- 75000/yr. The atmosphere of the college was quite rocking. And we have good placements in our college. Companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, Hexaware etc visit our campus.

For every semester we will be having 5-6 courses. The faculty will be friendly, as I am from the electronics and communication department, they ask us to do simple projects every semester. labs will be clearly explained and guided by faculty. Extracurricular activities like badminton, volleyball, foot ball, cricket are also encoraged.

From the 6th semester companies visit for internship and full time roles. companies like lifafa, quinbay, engati, moonraft, senseforth, divum, Halley give internships. they give both developing and testing. mostly the give front end developer.

Placement classes will begin from the 2nd year. Companies start visiting from the 6th semester. The highest package- 8lpa. average-3-5 LPA. Minimum 2.5lpa. 100% placement not sure but usually everybody gets an offer in some company.

Academic fees- 150000/yr. if gone through counselling(-25000/-. if first graduate -25000/-. we have to pay 100000/yr. academic fees can be paid as 2 term fees. hostel fees 75000/yr. reduces 2000 every year. this can also be paid as 2 terms.

our college conducts 16 days orientation program for fresher. Senior will conduct this orientation program. so it will be easy for freshers to communicate with seniors and staff. many fun games will be conducted. DHRUVA and KALAM is the fest conducted including seminar presentation dance music and fun. lot of study materials available for academic work. cricket, badminton, ball badminton, volleyball, football, kabaddi teams are there which are actively involved in matches across Coimbatore.

The hostel will be clean and neat to accommodate. two different breakfasts will be provided we can eat as we wish. evening snacks and tea will be given. non veg weekly once. every day noon rice daal rasam poriyal applam and curd will be given

There will be only a scholarship exam which includes aptitude and maths. If we clear the test scholarship will be provided every year. this is not mandatory to enter the college. I didn't attend this test, I attended counselling and I entered the college
