Remarks
After my NEET results, I had applied under cee. Opted for different medical colleges as well as dental colleges. In the first Allotment, I got admission to PMS dental college. And I had gone for the higher option and in the 2nd round, I got allotted to Mar Baselios Dental College in Kothamangalam. I got admission under the state merit quota since I had secured a 7k rank. You need to qualify for the NEET entrance exam to get admission. After getting allotted to college you need to reach college and need to submit the required documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
When I joined the course I'm not much interested in dentistry but after getting deep into it I started liking it. A class consists of 60 students. In the first yr, we have 4subjects anatomy physiology biochemistry, and dental anatomy&oral histology. All the faculty are very supportive. Qualified teachers have their methods of teaching. They conduct lots of class tests as well as model exams which are very helpful for the students to write university exams confidently.
Internships Opportunities
Our college consists of 12 departments. All departments are busy with patients. So there will be lots of work during the internship period which will improve the skills and experience. During the internship period, you will get a stipend.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is according to the cee Kerala. For one yr 321000 rs is the tuition fee to addition there will be special fees and hostel fees. the management of the college is very supportive. Fees for all 5 yrs will be 18 lakhs. During the internship period, you will get stipends
Campus Life
Interment is the big event conducted in our college which is the sports arts competition between all dental colleges of Kerala. We have colorful, events like college day arts day sports day, etc. We have a vast library with lots of books on different authors. Academic as well as non-academic. Internet and browsing facility was available in our college. Our college provides free wifi on the campus. We have a vibrant Union.
Hostel Facilities
We have a separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel rules are strict. The mess is by the management of the college with a delicious menu. The hostel is very clean and tidy. Double rooms and triple rooms are available. Ragging free campus. Attached and unattached are available.
