My college - my experience

The reason for taking admission to this college is it doesn't give admission on basis of donation. As I'm from open category is was a little tough to get admission in Pune. And I get this college, in which I get direct admission through jee score. It's a very good opportunity to students not belonging to Maharashtra state to get admission through jee. Admission criteria is very simple as they require non zero scores in jee or MH cet exam. And then according to our score and availability of seat, we get our branch. Like i got computer engineering as my first preference is that only. If you go my counseling process for the same you need scorecard of jee or MH cet on which basis 3 rounds are held for admission you can also take admission like this. And for the quota you have to directly contact with college department they will guide you for the Same.

I choose the computer branch because the overall performance of my colleagues in this branch is much better than all other branches and also the placement ratio is very good. Faculty of computer branch are highly qualified like they have a degree of Ph.D., mtech from a good college and have a good experience of 10-15 years teaching. Some of them work with good IT companies that they have good knowledge and skill of coding and programming. If I talk about students they are brilliant and competitive as we have to study hard. Because of online classes, our faculty members are trying all the possible best ways to teach us in a simple and interesting way. Exams are not very tough as we have to only focus on classes and notes are given by faculty and the concept they are teaching. So it will be easy to pass on the exam with a good score

College does not provide internships through campus but students can apply for the internship outside the campus. The college will support them and give connection in attendance. In the third year they provide a major project to all the students.

From the third year students gets eligible for campus placement. But only from first year they trained as through different events for the placement. The companies visit for the campus are tcs, t&l, Bajaj financial, Wipro. The highest package is 12 lpa, and lowest is 1.5 Lpa. Approximately 60-70% of students get placed in the companies. My plan after degree is to get placed in good company and if not then go for master degree.

The fees of this college is comparatively less with other colleges in Pune as computer department have fees 94000 in the first year then 92000 from the second year. It gives scholarship opportunity to the students who belongs to Maharashtra state. The scholarship is given by the Maharashtra government. College does not provide any special scholarships but if students want to apply for the scholarship from outside the college they can. The performance of college in campus placement is very good for the computer branch as many companies visit for the placement like tcs and t&L, like other companies. The trains as in a very good way for the placement as from the first year they provide as workshops of different programs and projects. so almost all the students get placed.

There are several fests conducted by college like culture fest and freshers party for first year students then welcome party for direct student year students and many cultural events are held. In college they have a big library so no need of borrowing book from outside we can take only from library. All the categories books are present there only. College also conduct many sports events for cricket, football like games. Infact, in this pandemics sports tournament are held online also in our college and many students are participating in this.

The hostel is like a 7-star hotel. It was very good and give a better environment to study. Room is very nice and clean. We can go for a hostel like it in only in campus no need to go somewhere else or outside. When we visit to the hostel they give us a form to fill for the admissions in the hostel.
