Remarks
After the 12th results came out in the medical field, I chose the Bachelor of Pharmacy course as I knew I won't be able to crack NEET. I haven't prepared for NEET at all, and also I didn't want to drop. So that's what came to my mind to go for. Then I started searching for good colleges around me nearby. I applied to Jamia Hamdard and DIPSAR, but couldn't able to qualify. Lastly, I found Galgotias the best option to go for. Now the admission process is quite simple, you need 75% or more in 12th and they will verify all your documents. The admission procedure will be most probably held in the Galgotias College. Overall the procedure is quite simple.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is Bachelor of Pharmacy and right now I'm in 3rd year. Faculties are professionals only, with a good amount of knowledge. I would say even in this lockdown period, each and every faculty worked very hard in online classes and they really made sure to do their best and educate us properly. The college works in a Hierarchy system. If you have any kind of problem, you first go to your mentor, then if it doesn't work out, you go to the class coordinator, if this not works then you need to go to your HOD, and still, you're unsatisfied you'll go to your DEAN. Every process is quite systematic and smooth. In each semester, two internal exams are taken in the name of CAT1 and CAT2, then the final ET(End Term examination). You need to qualify for both the internals then only you'll be allowed to attend the End term examination.
Internships Opportunities
For an internship, you need to go to your faculties and higher authorities, they will give you permission and a statement to attend any internship. Apart from this, there are not many internship opportunities provided by our college. You need to find it on your own. The college will grant you permission.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is provided to all and it's good. Most of the companies look for on-campus placement. The average package from Galgotias University is around 5lakhs per annum and around 70% of students from our course got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
In my course, the fee is 1 lakh 39 thousand per annum. And they rarely provide any scholarship or financial assistance. But you'll be provided with a date by the college quite earlier than normal fees deposition date, if you pay the fees before that date, you'll be given a 10% of discount. Otherwise, I don't think there's any other fees hike policy.
Campus Life
The campus is good, but other social life and clubs are not that good. Clubs are rarely active. You'll be given education only here, other curricular activities are almost zero. In the library, there are sufficient books and you can issue them according to your need. You don't need to make any library card, the id card provided by the college is enough to issue books.
