University has quite a good infrastructure but management is not to that level beautification of university is a necessity. Management regarding other issues is between ok and good.

Doon University conducts its own entrance examination. Entrance exam for each school is different. There are many schools in university. My school is School of Language (SOL).I had cleared SOL entrance test and scored 63 out of 100.

For School of Languages no such internships is arranged as much work experience is not required in the field. However finding a job in this sector is far more easier than other sectors.

For School of Languages no campus selection procedure takes place. In coming years we are hopeful of having tech giants like oracle. However finding a job in this sector is far more easier than other sectors.

Each Department in School of Languages celebrates their Language day or a day related to cultural significance of the concerned language. University hosts inter school competitions and festivals.

University is state funded and hence in comparison of private institutions is cheap. Fees varies course to course. Including mess charges and tuition fees a typical course fee for a semester can range anywhere INR 35000-50000.

A few scholarships are available. As far as I am concerned scholarships are available in form of fee waivers and monthly stipends( from private sources).

Campus life is safe, enjoyable and happening no issues prevails in campus regarding security. Workshops, seminars, lecture series are a common phenomenon here no discrimination on the basis of caste, religion, gender or on any ground is made in fact girls dominates boys statistically .

Hostels are new facilities are good one room is allotted to each student food quality is medium however in first year of residence in hostel you can have to share the room with another student.

Seniors in University are friendly and helpful no reported case of ragging strict policy is implemented against ragging or any activity of such kind.

Examinations are not a very big deal here, they are ok. University follow semester system with CGPA marking system.

Faculty is between good and ok however exposure to foreign faculty is plus point here university and departments organizes frequent lectures with foreign faculties.
