Anil Kumar Singh's Review On Gaya College, Gaya

Admission was direct on the basis of 12th marks. This was my dream college to so graduation as it was one of the best college in the bihar. Also the interview was very comprehensive and that too was a very good experience to.

I opted for botany hons, as i was quite interested in going in medical line. And that too i opted for the hons as it was very interesting and quite comprehensive. At that time there was no online method to get the course curriculum and help so we have to compete depended on the written matters provided by the college.

At that time and for this course college do not provide any internship. But may b there were some other courses that the college was providing the internship.

Our course of Botany Hons was opted by around 35 students and all were hopeful to get placed well in good companies or go for a higher studies. After completed approx 20 opted for higher studies while me also go for computer education and then got a good job in delhi. I hope approx 25 students got job.

The fee at that time was quite reasonable and the set keeping in mind the paying capacity of that area. We do not think we got any problems in paying that fee, so i can say that it was really very feasible. It was about 600 per month that time and that too for reserved class it was free.

At that time i have not heard of any loan facility and the talented students got scholarships. I was not so lucky but one of my good friend got the scholarship from the college.

The boys to girls ratio at that time was quite broad that was about 10:3. The campus life was very good and the students were supportive and understanding. In regular interval sports were organised we also took part in that. Sports were cricket, badminton etc. Sometimes debate competitions were also held and it was very useful.

The hostels were normal, with a small rooms and on sharing basis. 2 to 4 students were placed in each room. There were no facility of air condition at that time. The hostel fee was quite reasonable.

The exam were very tough, with descriptive ans type. The experimental schedule was also so frequent and hectic and even we have to go to excurssion tour to collect various types of plants and making file of it. Exams were completed in very tension and after that we were quite relaxed.

I had heard a lot about this college and in previous year i also tried to get admission but when i can for admission it was already closed. So again i approached it in advance to that i can go thru it, and i was finally get admitted. The admission process was quite lengthy and it was very time consuming but when it was over we were quite assured to get a quality education.

The college was a very good reputation in the state for the well qualified and good mannered faculty, heard of it students not only from the state but also from the other parts of india were coming to get admitted to this college. The faculty were well qualified and had indepth knowledge of subject matter and can easily make us understand the points.
