Excellent college in terms of Discipline and good in terms of placements, quality of education and exposure

I have applied for many colleges in Andhra Pradesh mostly near to my home town like MVGR College, Raghu Engineering College, Gayatri Vidya Parishad, GMR Engineering College, JNTU Vizianagaram, Lendi Institute of Engineering Science and Technology. But I have chosen the Lendi Institute Of Engineering And Technology because it has good faculty, discipline and placements. I don't avail any quota for admission because I am from the General category. The admission Criteria is the person should complete their 12th or intermediate and should qualify in AP EAMCET with good marks The admission process for this college is through AP EAMCET Counselling.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is more demanding and is similar to Computer Science. Placements are also very good Faculty: student ratio = 180:35. This department has 8 doctorates, 12 pursuing doctorates and others are postgraduates from good colleges and universities. There will be 2 semesters for a year and each semester has 2 mid examinations. It takes 4 to 5 months to complete a semester.

Our college provides internships to students but internships are un paid only few are paid internships. HCL, IBM Tech Mahindra, Wipro, provides internships to our college. Most othe companies are service based companies. Some core companies also visit our college but drawbach is they will give less salaries. We also get internships from core companies but they are unpaid internships. Only software companies provides apid internships. All branch students are eligible for software service based companies placements. Roles offered in internships are design trainee, trainee engineer, software tester, software developer, junior engineer. The projects form our college are mostly outcome based projects The difficulty level of projects is moderate.

From the 3-1 or 5th semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placements. In 2021 40 companies came on campus. For 2020-21 Total of 702 offers were made. The highest package offered by amazon is 17lakhs CTC and the average CTC of all other companies is 4 lakhs CTC. 75 to 80% of students get placement. Currently, I have qualified in GATE 2021 and I am pursuing M.Tech in the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology.

It takes around 3 lakhs rupees for the college fee for 4 years. For EWS, White ration card family students, there will be fee reimbursement If there is any financial issue to students our college will give more time to pay The scholarship is provided by the AP government in the name of AMMA VODI. Almost 85% of students from this branch got placements in MNCs. The average CTC is around 3.8 Lakhs.

The college will conduct an annual fest very well but tech fests will be conducted yearly twice. There are lots of books and journals available in the college library. Most classrooms have projectors, computers and have good quality benches The classroom size is also big. This college doesn't give much importance to sports there will be 1hour for sports every week. The extracurricular activities were conducted mostly on projects powerpoint presentations, elections etc. This college has English Communication Lab which is the best compared to all other top colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Dhruva is a group run by ECE students, There are other clubs for social service, volunteering, Entrepreneur development Program etc.
