Remarks

Separate exam is held for admission in BVPCOE, Pune. Exam name is Bvp cet for engineering students. No quota in admission. A good score will give good branch choice, you can also take admission by Jee Score. Conselling is smooth usually ends in 5 days, staff is cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview

A good college for doing engineering. I am 2021 pass out batch. Student teacher ration is good, only 60 students in the class. Facillty is good with some experts from the corporate world. Exams are conducted timely, it is easy to pass exams with regular studies.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide assistance during internship. Only one company came for internship oppurtunity that too with no stipend just training for 6 months. The training provided by company was good and few were give ppo too.

Placement Experience

Companies start visiting when you are in 6 semesters, half of the class got placed in their 3rd year. Many opportunities in companies as there are a lot visiting the campus but with average packages. A couple of companies provided good packages too. 100% placement for my batch, leaving the backlog student aside. The highest package was around 7 LPA and the average is 3.5 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees remain the same for each student till the 4th year i.e., the fees decided in the first year. The scholarship is given to students on basis of performance and also a separate scholarship for girls. Placement is average, around 20 companies visited in the covid scenario.

Campus Life

Social life is awesome in Pune, parties happening every 15 days for school clubs. A place where you can socialize and enjoy yourself a lot. The library is huge with all engineering books required. Sports like cricket, football, basketball, etc have regular inter-department tournaments. Bhartiyam, the annual fest is held once a year around February with great exposure.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
