I had given a CAT exam for Bachelor's of business administration and my rank in the same was 2281. I opted for this particular college because of the good placement opportunities, good crowd and a very nice and congenial environment.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course that I am currently pursuing is amazing, the staff is very helpful and takes initiative in solving the doubts out. The course structure focuses on research very well and helps the students to understand everything better and using their own experience in understanding well with the research and development the student carries out.
Internships Opportunities
Yes our college provides various internships for various companies like IDBI etc. Being in the 2nd year I have not given any interviews yet, I had been doing internship outside the college. And now that I have stepped in the 4th semester, I would be giving lot many interviews for internships by the college.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities of VIPS are well known. Being the top college of IP, it is known to provide really good job opportunities. Being in the second year, I have not yet experienced the same but I'm looking forward to it. I am pretty sure one can get really good job if the person scores well.
College Events
Our college is A1 when it comes to events. We have many events like art fiesta, gravity and our annual fest, Spandan. Our college is well known for the different events it organises. There are various opportunities for the students to participate and enjoy themselves. We also have various societies like fashion society, dance society etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure depends upon student to student and their financial condition, some may find it expensive and some may find it okay. There are different fee structure for different courses. As far as BBA (banking and insurance) is concerned, it is about 80k. With is justified according to the environment and quality of the college.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is student focused and fair. There is no point of using unfair means. Students are provided with very high quality notes by the teachers which enables us to study well for the exams. The checking is also very fair, their is no biasism, and you are free to ask as to why your marks have been deducted and what could you do to improve the same.
Admission
I had to give the CAT exam. After which we selected the colleges according to the out preference. Then we got allotted the particular college. We were then required to make a Demand draft out the college fee and were required to submit it in the college along with the form which could be downloaded easily from the website. The forms were also available at the college itself.
Faculty
Faculty of out college is really kind and helpful, they make sure the student feels comfortable and is not shying away from asking any doubts. They take active initiative in sorting the doubts out of the students. The faculty is very friendly as well and they are open for any queries even after the college.
